Hermann Goering was prosecuted, in part, for having signed the Nuremberg Laws. Goering/Jones' defense argument didn't fly then and it doesn't fly now.

Sort of like the famous Groucho Marx joke, when the wife comes home and catches the husband in bed with another woman. The man jumps up and denies it saying, “who are you going to believe, me or your own lying eyes?” That’s Van Jones trying to get out of this.

He signed the petition and that is what he believed and now he denies it because it is expedient to do so. Or else he lacks accountability, and like a spoiled child given far too much leeway, he will cry and scream, lie to whomever is listening and if you insist on the truth then guess what - you’re a RACIST. That is coming again.

He has to be held to account.

I think this nutcase is out, and probably sooner rather than later. If Obama is really stupid or crazy enough to try and keep him on and spin this one, he's done. His popularity will sink as low as Bush's was in the end, but in a fraction of the time.

Saw a post at another Website today commenting about seeing a “How's That Hope and Change Working For You?” bumper sticker. The poster was angry and actually said that Obama’s only been in office for eight months and they are not giving him a chance. He/she also said they didn't give Bush anything but support until his second year in office. I think the whole “the election in 2000 was stolen, he is not legally the president, he's a fascist, he's a Jesus freak, etc.,etc.” never really happened in their minds!

Thought y'all would get a kick out of the thought that the bumper sticker was getting to people.
