When this was going on, I remember seeing those dear people (parents) on the tv, and I was almost overcome with sorrow, rage, and a sense of helplessness. The gentleman was a fine example of what a Father’s loving heart should reveal, and his and his wife’s, revealed much. I’m glad he’s now at peace. *salute*

Thanks for the post and ping. I still vividly recall the hospice staff barring a young child from bringing a bottle of water to Terri.
As Fr. Euteneueur noted, Bob Schindler was a true hero!
