I'm torn about this. On one hand I have no problem with keeping the younguns home, on the other I have a teen who is chomping at the bit to wear her own designed T-shirt and to openly mock the Won while he's giving his lil' talk to the mushminds at school. She's ticked about all this. Our high school is fairly conservative, but I dunno what they will do on that day, yet.

I guess the question is- do I feel like driving all the way into town on that day because my kid's in the principals' office?

Here's her shirt, came up with it all on her own!

After oh, age 15 or so, the student’s desires deserve
a hearing. Not necessarily acceptance but a hearing.
