oyyyyyyyyyyyyyyah! Yeah, just look at how organized "we" are.
Gosh, that's a long article. Obama may yet make Lenin look like an amateur.
Obama is a Liberal Leo.
Wasn’t it Lenin who said that the State needed to terrorize the masses, to make them submit?
And that he enjoyed hearing the howls and the cries of the oppressed?
Oh wait, maybe that was Che.
Or Fidel.
Or Mao.
Or Hugo.
Or Stalin.
Or Beria.
Damn.
Tough to tell with these Revolutionaries, Communists, Anarchists, Acornists.
“Washington has made itself the enemy of the American people”.
-————— so sayeth Pat Cadell, liberal Democrat!!!
Please don’t taze me guys for saying the above. !!!
Did Lenin go around apologizing for Russia? (Fat chance)
And everything from his lips is a bunch of Taurus.
Thanks. A fascinating article. James Lewis isn’t here to respond, but would someone who has noticed how quickly Obama can shift from trying to charm to trying to intimidate please pick out the points in Lewis’s article that should make us “fairly sure” we won’t see a “violent bolshevik revolution” in this country? I want to believe this, but I feel like I’m sitting on a chair with one weak leg: not four legs, one weak, but one leg, weak. Help....
He likes the word "Leninoid" for a completely different reason than I do. Leninoid reminds me of hemorrhoid, and that's what Obama is. A huge pain in the *ss!!
We are not about to see a violent Bolshevik coup like Lenin’s
Not until the diversity crowd consolidates their power...theyre just ramping up while the useful idiots argue about how many activists it takes to complete a coup.
Wouldn't it be great if schoolkids could have a Doctor Zhivago day (like Earth Day, or GLBT Day) with discussion of what happens to a country when "do-gooders" take over and believe that they have the authority to Make other people do what is "for the collective good."
As Ralph Peters pointed out in the New York Post, he is basically a radical Leftist circa 1979, when Third World Radicalism was the big thing.
I found this interesting, because it is one of the things that has always puzzled me about Zero's attitudes. Simply, they reflect the attitudes of radical leftists about a generation older than he is. I always assumed that this was because he was formed by (and his books were written by) Bill Ayers, who is about a generation older than Obama and came out of the time when the radical left was very Third World oriented (Franz Fanon, etc.). It is possible, though, that the fact that he lived in the Third World during most of his childhood, with a radical leftist parent and her radical leftist associates, contributed to this.
Certainly, when this well-off white boy decided to self-identify as an oppressed black, he had this Third World background to give him some bona fides and no doubt it was much easier for Bill Ayers to train him in the nonsensical, self-indulgent Third World radical line.
Before he ever met Bill Ayers he was on a straight path to leftist radicalism. One of his grandfather’s good friends was a (black) Marxist from Chicago, who had been “banished” to Hawaii because of hot water in Chicago. Frank Marshall Davis was a Communist, 1930s style.
Not withstanding that Obama, sr was able to receive education at the U of Hawaii and Harvard, Obama, jr grew up resenting the colonial rule of Kenya by Great Britain. [control over the black man]
Whoever guided him to [pacifist] Occidental College in California had to have had strong leftist leanings.
Etc etc.
The people teaching Obama were the contemporaries of Bill Ayers, the SDS, the Weather Underground.
Obama is the prime example of how well the teaching/indoctrination has worked.
Libtard = Leninoid
I am coming more to think of Hussein as possibly Hoover to whoever follows him. If you discount the possible effects of ACORN and the O’Bama census on the elections in 2010 and 2012. It may be that it is he, not Bush that will get the blame for Great Depression II and his successor will be the putative cleanup man. If we could follow him with a Coolidge or a Reagan we will be in much better shape. Remember, Hoover tried most of the stunts that FDR finally got enacted successfully. Hoover got shot down by the Supreme Court and then lost the election. FDR waited out the Court and got pliable judges on it and ran with the ball from there.
That’s a great piece... Bring to mind “Witness” and Whitacker Chambers experience with the CPUSA and spying apparatus he was once a part of.
Wouldn’t you think the mainstream media would bring some attention to this and try to connect the dots? Are they so far in the tank for the socialist-statists that they can’t see what is going on? I guess I know the answer to that.
Yes, he was definitely indoctrinated all along by his mother’s family’s friends (Davis, etc.) and no doubt her own circle in the Third World places where he lived.
But the thing that struck me when he first began to spout his leftist nonsense openly is how dated it sounded; in fact, even his alleged autobiographies, which even he admits were semi-fictional composites, sounded like they were written by somebody at least 15 years older.
He is not known to have participated in any regular campus left activities in his various schools, and he seems to have lived in a bubble of the earlier Third-World-Leninist mindset that was so popular when I was in college (I’m about the same age as Ayers). Perhaps, in fact, one of the things that made it hard for people to immediately identify him as the radical leftist that he is was the fact that his leftism was somewhat anachronistic.
That doesn’t mean it’s somehow quaint and less dangerous, though. In fact, if anything, it is more dangerous, more ruthless, and I think we’ll soon find out exactly how much so, as legitimate democratic resistance to his policies grows and he finds he has to seek some other way of imposing them.
We tend to forget that his mother was only 18 when he was born, so he was hearing from a very young age the messages of her generation - which as you say made his writings sound about 15 years older.
Or perhaps like Ho Chi Minh, who in addition to his notoriety for the war in Vietnam, was also co-founder of the French Communist Party and founder of the Communist Party of Indochina, as well as acknowledged leader of the Viet Minh.
He is shown in the photo below with other Third World Communists at the Fifth Comintern Congress in June 1924 in Moscow.
I call Obama's supporters "Obamarrhoids" along the same lines of reasoning.
The article is deadly serious, though, and it portends very dark days ahead.
