I wouldn’t put anything past the far-left. They will sacrifice their own if it’s necessary to grab the country, martial law, suspend the Constitution or delete it outright. With such a combination, they can disarm the citizenry for the “greater good”.

I have faith in the American people. They just proved it in the recent town halls against physical intimidation by thugs.

One thing the libs don’t count on; Conservative parents may have very liberal kids who will not stand for their parents and grandparents are hurt.

Blood is thicker than politics, I hope!

That scenario would rely on orders that have a low probablility of being followed, a military that would gleefully leap into a role as oppressors of their own families, friends, neighbors, fellow citizens, and a populace that would docilely and obediently accept their role of being oppressed.

 

It's a no on all of the above.
