Why is he to be buried at Arlington Cemetery?

Any sitting or former US Senator may be buried at Arlington. My guess is EMK will be buried on the same hillside as RFK, just down from the JFK gravesite.

Because he can, there is no other reason. It is a status symbol to these people, they think it makes them better, somehow -- it is why both Clintons will abuse the privilege, because they can.

It does not disgrace nor take away from the honor to those who truly deserve and earned it, we all know the truth of these matters.
