Ted Kennedy lived a good life...and longer than Mary Jo. RIP anyway...his soul is in God’s hands.

Shame on you. The man is dead. If you can’t say something polite and sympathetic, than shut up.

I hope he burns in Hell for what he did to Mary Jo - waited something like 9 or 11 hours to call the police, while she drowned - and the Mass. police never did a thing to prosecute him....the man was a failure, and worse, a liberal. Rot in Hell, Teddy!

His greatest evil was the 1965 Immigration Act. The legislation that set America firmly on an inevitable path to third world status.

If we couldn’t say anything bad about the dead there would be no history.

This might hurt his re-election prospects. However, I believe he will be able to overcome it by the next election.

It’s hard for me to summon up any empathy for the Kennedy family. If you look at the whole picture they were a seriously dysfunctional bunch. Jack Kennedy had so much potential, but he got assassinated. And then, over the years, we found he had the same problem with his zipper that Teddy had. Teddy, of course, was the epitomy of the spoiled rich kid who did bad things and got away with them. The philanderer even killed a young woman, cowardly did not report it for over 8 hours and then got away with that. It also doesn’t say much about the Kopechne (sp?) familiy who allowed themselves to be bought off.

I guess Robert was the most stable of the three brothers and he, too, also appeared to have much potential to do good. But he covered for his brother and there is some evidence that he also was less than he seemed. His assassination, before he became president, pretty much removed him from further public scrutiny.

In the end I think it says a lot about the state of our country that Ted Kennedy, a philandering killer, will be lauded over the next few weeks as “The Lion of the Senate” by people like John McCain.

All other news will be CALLED OFF by the news media for at least the rest of the week.

That way they don't have to report on the deficit or AKA Obama's crashing poll numbers.

Instead we'll have to watch Chis Matthews drool all over himself....maybe even get another thrill up his leg.

May he receive his eternal reward. I never liked him but I will not, in the end wish him ill. I will pray that the rest of the Kennedy clan finds some kind of solace that his suffering is ended.

Kennedy's legacy lives on in his nephew Michael Skakel, who is eligible for parole in 2013, and will no doubt, be awarded the Massachussetts Senate seat of Uncle Ted...

"First, our cities will not be flooded with a million immigrants annually. Under the proposed bill, the present level of immigration remains substantially the same ... Secondly, the ethnic mix (of the country) will not be upset..." -- Kennedy, speaking in the Senate in favor of his 1965 Immigration and Naturalization Act.

When Richard Nixon died, all the MSM could talk about was Watergate. I’ve yet to hear Mary Jo Kopechne mentioned.

“Socialism hasn’t worked in 6,000 years of recorded history because it didn’t have me to run it.” - Ted Kennedy
And despite all his efforts to the contrary, it never worked in America either. Even with him as the Jackal of the Senate trying his best to implement it. May God have mercy on his soul...but we are better as a nation with him permanenetly out of that position of power and influence.

Now we have Barrack Hussein Obama and his ilk, who will surely try to use the death of this old, corrupt man, to push through the biggest socialization effort in American history - ObamaCare.

We cannot let it happen. Stand firm, speak out, lean into their storm of word and ideologies...and push them back.

If ANY of his brothers would have outlived him, Ted's political career would have been moribund at best. However, after one brother died in World War II and two were assassinated, it fell to Ted to carry the Kennedy mantle...

I do believe that of the four Kennedy brothers, Teddy definitely got shorted on the brains.

And while we're at it, let's look at JFK and Bobby a little too. JFK, pill-popping whoremaster, let the Cubans down at the Bay of Pigs, failed in the Cuban Missile Crisis, got us into Vietnam and then waffled on that too. As for Bobby... shameless opportunist, worked as a staffer for Joe McCarthy but distanced himself from McCarthy as soon as it was no longer fashionable, got the Attorney General position out of sheer nepotism, and ruthlessly went after shady figures who had actaully helped his brother get elected President, and had the DoJ do domestic spying on MLK, then carpet-bagged a New York Senate seat. Yeah, real heroes.....

I don’t know that I’ll mourn his death, but may he rest in peace. I know he has a lot to repent and showed no mercy toward Mary Jo, but he’s in God’s hands now, and I hope he chose to repent and reflect in his last days.
