The removal of Kennedy from the Senate now leaves an open seat in Massachusetts. While Mass is, obviously, a full-up liberal state, even a few of those liberals must be wondering if Obama-care is the way to go. It is quite possible that this could be an interesting election.

Coupe de Ville is already making noises like he'd be open to the State Legislature changing the law BACK to what it used to be. In 2004, When Mitt was Governor, Teddy the Swimmer convinced the Legislature to remove from the Governor the ability to choose a replacement, cause they all expected John Effin Kerry to win the Presidency.

I'd like to see Mitt run for the seat, again. He's got plenty of name recognition here in MA, so he'd have a head start, and he can offer the business and finance knowledge that most of the other 99 Senators clearly LACK! This may count for a lot this time, even in MA.

SOME Republican needs to file for the campaign IMMEDIATELY to head off the State Legislature changing their minds again.
