Don’t count on it. If the extended Kennedy family can’t find someone to run in his seat, the Democrat establishment or the national press will invent another Kennedy. It’s all b***s*** of course, but that’s what the Kennedy family has been for a long while.

Whatever your opinion may be of the things that Ted Kennedy promoted, he was effective in fighting for them. Many of us should be as effective.
Aside from the matter involving Mary Jo Kopechne, I do not recall hearing that he was provably involved in outright crime, graft or corruption.
And he spent many years participating in the United States Senate. We need many good people, with right principles, who will serve our country in the Senate for as many years as Ted Kennedy held office.
His passing is undoubtedly a loss for his family, and they have my sympathy.
