Ermey Says He’ll 'Square Away' Birthers
Military.com ^ | 8-21-2009 | Military.com|by Bryant Jordan

Troops challenging the legitimacy of President Barack Obama as commander-in-chief -- including at least one who is fighting deployment -- should take heed: Gunnery Sgt. Hartman wants to know your "major malfunction."

R. Lee Ermey, the Marine-turned-actor whose role as drill instructor Gunny Hartman in the late Stanley Kubrick's "Full Metal Jacket" has all but placed the Vietnam veteran in the pantheon of Marine heroes alongside "Chesty" Puller, Smedley Butler and Dan Daly, isn't buying anyone's political objector status.

"I haven't heard about those guys," Ermey told Military.com during an Aug. 21 interview. "If I do run across them though, trust me, I'll square them away."

Oh, you have seen 0bama's long form BC?

No. I have, however, seen numerous examples of Hawaiian long form birth certificates from that period. Here's one of them. Perhaps you can show me which box lists citizenship:

I like the Gunney, but he’s in no position to ‘square away’ the Major.

True, the "Gunny" was really a Staff Sergeant, and an E6 is not going to be squaring away an 04. (That's not to say that an 04 with an E6 working for him shouldn't listen very carefully to what the E6 has to say to him, in private)

That one appears to be cut off at the bottom. Wouldn’t it be possible to request additional information, like citizenship, be included? Such as line #23 is for.

I think it’s because the BC specifically lists his citizenship as foreign. His father was Kenyan and a British subject so he probably could have requested that his son be listed that way.

There is no place on the 1961 Hawaiian Certificate of Live Birth for "citizenship", not even of the parents. There is for their birthplace, as well as that of the baby. There's a space for the parent occupations, although mother's and father's are worded a bit differently (it was 1961 you know, or thereabouts). There is also a file number, which should be the same number that is shown on a Certification of Live Birth, the short form. However the number on Barry's certificate is actually 3 numbers higher than that of the younger Nordyke twin. The Nordyke twins were born about 19 hours *after* Barry, supposedly in the same hospital, although no one seems to know that for certain since the COLB doesn't show the hospital name as the Certificate does. Their Certificates show that they were filed three days *after* Barry's COLB indicates his was, so you'd expect his number to be several 10s lower than theirs, not 3 higher. (His posted COLB shows him being born a bit after 7 PM on a Friday night, the twins were born a bit after 4 PM the following day.

Something tells me that Ermey would have smacked this Bryant Jordan person if he knew his history

Hmm, perhaps Ermey was creatively quoted?

So you think that an active duty officer that has questions about Obummer's eligibility is trying to get out?

Major Cook is not active duty. He an IMA (individual mobilization augmentee) reservist. Assigned or attached to an active duty unit. He volunteered to be activated and deployed.

You're right. I should have said that the majority of the evidence would lead a thoughtful person to believe he was born in Kenya to a U.S. citizen making him a statutory citizen rather than a natural born citizen.

If he was born in Kenya, or anywhere else not in the US, he's not even a statutory citizen, unless later naturalized. His mother didn't meet the requirements of the statute (8 USC 1401 See the notes) as they existed at that time. Either way, non-citizen or naturalized, he'd not be eligible to the Office of President.

The military brass put their butts on the line for the Kenyan in the Cook case. We’ll see what happens and if military.com is so loud and proud when the truth comes out.

just launched a new show on the network in July. “Lock ‘N Load with R. Lee Ermey
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

The guy is working for Hollywood????

I would say that he has a conflict of interest here.

And....The author of the article is a typical idiot or deliberately obfuscating the issue.

Cook has repeatedly stated that he is **willing** to serve. He asked for clarification regarding the validity of the orders. The night before the judge was to hear the case the Department of Defense rescinded his orders to deploy. Apparently that is almost an unheard of event.

He's also admitted to dual citizenship at birth. Either a British subject or Kenyan citizen. Not natural born. His father was a Kenyan citizen and therefore a British subject and Stanley Ann Obama (nee Dunham) didn't meet the requirements to confer US citizenship on B. Hussein.

Or her initial claim was misinterpreted.

Or mistranslated.

Or misunderstood.

Or she was simply mistaken.

Or, yes, perhaps she was lying. Why? I dunno. Maybe to hop on the bandwagon. Maybe to try and gain prestige.

And, she is not BHO Sr.’s mother, as I understand it. She is one of BHO Sr.’s father’s other wives and thus could certainly have been present when the elder BHO was born.

There’s a bottom line statement. A lot of people are going to have some big ‘splainin’ to do when the truth comes out.

That one appears to be cut off at the bottom.

Only the part that is "new" when you get a copy. Here's a copy of the one issued to one of the Nordyke twins, born the day after Obummer's COLB says he was, and supposedly in the same hospital. This image come from a certified copy made in 1966, just in time for the twins, and Obummer, to start kindergarten.

BTW, that last signature on the original certificate, should also be on The One's long form, as it's the hospital registrar's, which certainly would not have changed in the few days between his and the twins certificates being filed.

You, sir, are correct.

I'm just sensitive that, because I too was once an IMA reservist.

Obummer is ineligible to be POTUS and unqualified to be dog catcher.

He is qualified to be a constant source of humor and ridicule for my 9 year old homeschooled daughter.

I will second your thought. I want to hear that from R. L. Ermey with my own two very old ears. I just can’t figure him to say that.

There is no line #23. Here are two more examples, certified photostat copies of the original:
