Release him on “humanitarian” grounds.

This prison sounds like a resort hotel. They have an exotic Native American Sweat Lodge(?) (Sauna) where hot rocks are used to induce sweat?

It use to be that swinging a pick or sledge hammer induced sweat at prisons. And rocks just served as the targets.

Meanwhile, a bare-chested Bernie has been killing time at the prison participating in Native American religious purification ceremonies held at an on-grounds "sweat lodge," other sources said.

Too bad he didn't do everyone a favor and engage in the Japanese purification ceremony of Sepeku instead. Would have saved everyone a lot of time and money.

the homosexual posse, although the relationships are purely platonic, according to the sources.

Uh huh, right. Maybe the pills he's taking are for a pain in the @$$.

masterminding the world's biggest Ponzi scheme

Nope, he is a pitiful second fiddle to that charge. FDR's Socialistic Insecurity is nearly 1000 times as big.

You swindle money, you go to jail for life. You take down an airliner and you get out in a few years.

His economic crimes pale in comparison to those of Obama.

Well then, the compassionate thing would be to release him on compassionate grounds and fly him to Scotland.

Guess who’s paying for those 20 pills and the Native American spa.

I bet there’s been a dramatic increase of converts to Native American religions since smoking was banned in prison. Can’t smoke in the yard but it’s okey dokey if you claim it’s part of your religion. It’s also an advantage having hot rocks as ammo in gang fights.

Obama “won” like Bernie Madoff attracted investors: by lying about his values, policy and plans. In fact, I’ll make that my tagline.

Bernie has been telling his fellow prisoners “if you give me a cigarette today, I will give you three back next week. Trust me on this.”

If this story is true, he should have pled not guilty and gone to trial, and then file his appeals in a timely manner. If he dies prior to all his appeals being exhausted, this convictions would have been vacated and his wife would have been able to keep a great deal more of the marital assets.

Gee, color me shocked. He finally ‘confessed’ (let’s not forget, a giant dollar amount of his ill gotten gain helped finance campaigns for dems seeking or seeking to retain office in key states.) Some of us have been saying he’s come forward now (instead of not at all) because ‘news’ of an illness would eventually come out and he desired to protect any who helped him in his deceit. I don’t wish him any ill, if the story is true, but I will find it most irritating if he ‘confessed’ and is sent to jail and then - ‘suddenly’ finds he’s ill and requests release on humanitarian grounds. I’m guessing he’s an excellent chess player and has already thought ahead a few moves...
