A relative of mine fought the Red Army in Finland (got shot, but survived). The Finnish part of my family will never apologize for defending a Nordic nation with Swedish and German guns in this struggle.
I don't hate Russia.
Russia could become a part of our glorious civilization if they wanted to.
But never forget why Westerners like us Swedes tend to react rather strongly anytime they chose to view attack Nordic territory.

Our excuse is called Stalin and anyone who'd say we Swedes ought to support Communism in one way or another is not a close friend of a culture which, perhaps, is guilty of having raided a bit, but also has encouraged trade, adventure, exploration and friendship between nations since the Stone Age.
