Dubious doctors keep turning up at congressional town hall meetings to support a government health care takeover plan that sane medical professionals are revolting against in force.
Blogger Patterico smoked out fake pediatrician Roxana Mayer at a Sheila Jackson-Lee town hall.
Now, bloggers have raised questions about a left-wing activist who turned up at Barney Franks raucous town hall.
Shes Dr. Sheila Leavitt, identified in press reports as a physician from Newton (MA).
But the folks at AR15.com cant find anyone licensed to practice medicine in Massachusetts under the name Sheila Leavitt.
Kate at Small Dead Animals does the Googling the rest of the MSM wont do and finds Leavitts trail of nutty, anti-Bush, anti-war activism.
Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit and Steven at Bucks Right have more.
At Bucks Right, a commenter who says he is Leavitts 16-year-old son says his mom did go to medical school but stopped actively practicing medicine 26 some odd years ago to raise four children.
Odd is certainly the right word. Check out her car (via SDA):
Update: It looks like Leavitt was channeling her husbands persona. Hes a bona fide doctor currently practicing in Boston

If the ‘RATS have their way with us and force their rationed CommieCare down our throats, we’re going to be seeing a lot more phony doctors. Ungood.

So if Bawney Fwank had heart failure right after this woman claimed to be a Doctor, what would happen?
I thought impersonating a Doctor was illegal.

Continuing Saga of DNC/Obama/Frank Questionable Doctors:
"EAT THE BLUE PILL" and "Bow Before Zod" Department [East Coast]
"Im having trouble finding evidence that an ObamaCare supporter who spoke at Barney Franks town hall meeting last night,
identified by the Associated Press and other media outlets as a Newton, MA doctor, actually is a doctor"
Associated Press (DNC Propagandea outlet): "Dr. Sheila Leavitt, a physician from Newton,
said she hoped for changes that would support primary care physicians who arent paid as much as specialists.
She said some of the rowdy critics at Tuesdays meeting appeared to be using the same talking points
as those who showed up at similar meetings around the country."
"As far as I can tell, she is not listed as a licensed Physician at the Massachusetts State Medical Board web site.
Several Leavitts are doctors in Massachusetts, but none are named Sheila.
Just for kicks I tried the Associated Press original misspelling of the name, Levitt,
and also found no Sheila as a licensed doctor."
"Other references to Leavitt mention her full name and home town,
but do not indicate that she is a medical doctor.
For example, I do find several references to a far-left agitator named Sheila Leavitt of Newton MA
who turned a grease car into a rolling Bush protest with signs attacking his daughters, raises chickens, and advanced the weird conspiracy theory
that the 2004 election was rigged in favor of George W. Bush."
"Another Phony Doctor? Woman At Frank Meeting Not In Database Im having trouble finding evidence that an ObamaCare supporter who spoke at Barney Franks town hall meeting last night, identified by the Associated Press and other media outlets as a Newton, MA doctor, actually is a doctor."
Dr. Sheila Leavitt, a physician from Newton, not listed in the Massachusetts registry, either.

Voila, she is a Real Estate Broker:
"I am Sheila Leavitt, a homeowner in Tuscany and Liguria , as well as Maine and the Boston Massachusetts area,
where I make my permanent home with my husband and four children. I am trained as a physician,
but do not currently practice medicine; I hold Massachusetts Real Estate Broker's License # 9055871 (Buyers' Agent)

Margery Eagan of the Boston Herald wrote:
"You could call Sheila Leavitt a nutty, annoying, unrelenting Newton leftie who home-schools the kids and raises chickens to share eggs with neighbors, not to eat. She is, of course, a vegetarian.
I see her as one of those rare people who puts their convictions on parade, then faces uneasy consequences.
Like the beefy, mad, middle-aged guy who followed her around the Esplanade yesterday, before dawn, tearing down her "Impeach Bush'' posters as fast as she put them up.
Or the trucker she said rear-ended her at a Mass Pike toll booth,
sending her head into the steering wheel of her '88 Toyota Corolla with bumper stickers saying ``War is barbaric'' and
``Support our troops . . . Draft Jenna and Barbara,'' as in Bush."

One of Obama's (and the MSM's) FAKE "doctors"
in their plan to exterminate Obama-selected elderly and conservative adults.
"Doctor" Roxana Mayer (DNC, White House Physician, Surgeon-General Nominee):
"To be honest, I delivered Obama, in Hawaii, whatever year he decides,
with Morgan Fairchild assisting a midwife, that's the ticket,
and we filmed it on DVD at the time as proof. "
"That's right. And as a result I have given Miss, ah, (Damn you, Totus)... I mean, "Doctor" Roxana Mayer
full dispensation to practice both medicine and surgery in all 57 states over which I am now President for Life."

Ms. Mayer, who claimed to be a doctor when she spoke at a town hall meeting held by Houston Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee.
... At first, the Houston Chronicle took Mayer's word that she is a doctor, failed to investigate her bona fides"
"Obama camp plants fake doc, Che fan at Jackson Lee forum
One supporter, Dr. Roxana Mayer, a physician who does not live in Jackson Lees district, praised the reform plan for overhauling a broken system.
I dont know what there is in the bill that creates such panic, she said.
In this video, Mayer claims to be a general practitioner, eliciting applause and even a hug from Queen Sheila:
.... Roxana Mayer is, like, totally not a doctor.
... her name does not appear in the database maintained by the Texas Medical Board, which licenses all doctors in Texas.
But she is an Obama campaign volunteer."

his mom did go to medical school but stopped actively practicing medicine 26 some odd years agoI hate to disagree, BUT ...
if she graduated from med school and has been certified, she is a doctor. If she claimed to have a current practice, and if she doesn't, then that would indeed be fraud. But you don't stop being a doctor just because you're not in current practice.
