I agree, thats why it’s imperative that we get this news out to the world! Knowledge is power, and facts are really hard to argue with. It takes only a little education of the public to make it clear as a bell that Global warming is not only a lie, the climate is cooling, but also that CO2 has nothing to do with climate at all.

I heard a great illustration, one I use for global warming debates with people who think they are so smart and nuanced.

Take an Olympic sized swimming pool, one that Phelps won all those medals in, take the temperature of the water. Now pretend that is the whole atmosphere. Take a common ordinary eyedropper, take about 10 of them. Fill them with boiling water. Now squirt all ten in the pool, wait about 10 seconds and take the temperature of the pool, do you think the temp went up? Well those 10 eyedroppers are ALL the Co2 us humans generate through respiration, automobiles, industry, burning leaves, etc. Do you think taking away those 10 eyedroppers of water away will lower the temp of the pool water? See how dumb your argument is. Always gets them irrational or elicits a smile and the light bulb goes on. Those ratios are exactly what we are talking about. Hyperbole and deception falls flat in the face of real science.

Ha! Lindzen calls Hanson’s predictions “rodomontade”

rodomontade or rhodomontade – 1 : a bragging speech 2 : vain boasting or bluster.

Nice timing by Dr Lindzen. Perhpas I’ll send a copy of the paper to the SCOTUS where they still believe that CO2 is a pollutant.

The link is great. The data are just devastating to the alarmists.

'Course, they still won't give up. Way too much money at stake, besides the chance they can seize control of the economy.

I heard Lindzen on a local (Boston) radio talk show. He was great!

One thing he said was that, as far as he can see, though some scientists jump on the AGW bandwagon, it's interesting that they only seem to really accept the garbage in other people's fields -- in their own fields, they stick to the facts.

From the article:

Either way, the world has been the victim of some very bad science. The results of which can be seen in drastically reduced GDP in countries with the Cap and Trade laws in place, as well a a 5 - 10% decrease in standard of living for those citizens living there (Taxing Carbon designed to fail.), all with little or no effect on emissions globally.
(Emphasis mine)

But those crazies up at MIT don't know nuthin' bout no numbers or science, do they????

or....

Water vapor constitutes Earth’s most significant greenhouse gas, accounting for about 95% of Earth’s greenhouse effect (4). Interestingly, many ‘facts and figures’ regarding global warming completely ignore the powerful effects of water vapor in the greenhouse system, carelessly (perhaps, deliberately) overstating human impacts as much as 20-fold.

Water vapor is 99.999% of natural origin. Other atmospheric greenhouse gases, carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O), and miscellaneous other gases (CFC’s, etc.), are also mostly of natural origin (except for the latter, which is mostly anthropogenic).

Human activities contribute slightly to greenhouse gas concentrations through farming, manufacturing, power generation, and transportation. However, these emissions are so dwarfed in comparison to emissions from natural sources we can do nothing about, that even the most costly efforts to limit human emissions would have a very small— perhaps undetectable— effect on global climate.
