The Orlando Sentinel reports Democrat Congressman Alan Grayson brought three of children to use as human shields at a town hall meeting tonight on health care. The Sentinel also reported Grayson found a new way to stack the meeting with supporters.
The paper reported that during a contentious point in the meeting, Grayson told a man to "knock off the bull" and invoked the presence of his children to try to keep the peace at the meeting.
As for Grayson's new way to stack the meeting, the local Democratic party held a meeting in the same room right before Grayson's town hall. They stayed and took up seats in the small 120 seat room.
Wow this guy looks just like Rick Sanchez minus the forehead.
I just got home from the Town Hall. After they stacked the deck with Union members, and other ‘RATS in a room that only holds 125 people, they only let 31 more people in and I wasn’t one of them. There were hundreds and hundreds of people there and we all had to stand outside. What a JOKE!

U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson, D-Orlando, picked a somewhat small union hall to host a town hall meeting tonight at 7:45, but a spokesman said the location was not picked to “stack the deck” and avoid critics.
Grayson’s spokesman Todd Jurkowski said moments ago that the choice of venue — the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers union hall at 820 Virginia Dr., which holds 125 to 150 people — was picked because it was free, available, and would not hold a crowd so large as to become unwieldy.
A union meeting will be breaking up right before the meeting is to start — but Jurkowski said the timing of Grayson’s session was not planned to keep out critics.
“What we would like is a well-represented crowd with a balance of viewpoints,” Jurkowksi said. “It wasn’t a conscious effort to stack the deck.”

Congressman Alan Grayson will hold a town hall meeting on health care in Orlando Monday night. He is scheduling a telephone town hall on health care reform on Thursday.
In a release sent exactly 24 hours before the town hall meeting, the freshman Democrat’s office says Grayson “intends for and expects this event to be a respectful and productive session.”
Grayson didn't seem to have a problem with Code Pink protesting!
