The Orlando Sentinel reports Democrat Congressman Alan Grayson brought three of children to use as human shields at a town hall meeting tonight on health care. The Sentinel also reported Grayson found a new way to stack the meeting with supporters.
The paper reported that during a contentious point in the meeting, Grayson told a man to "knock off the bull" and invoked the presence of his children to try to keep the peace at the meeting.
As for Grayson's new way to stack the meeting, the local Democratic party held a meeting in the same room right before Grayson's town hall. They stayed and took up seats in the small 120 seat room.
What DO they teach in school these days?
The longer I watch liberal politics, the harder it is for me to envision satire in any form. I have difficulty discerning satire from reality.
If he’s a RAT.. yes.

Rep. Alan Grayson scheduled the meeting for 7:45 p.m. Monday at the IBEW Local 606 Union Hall along Virginia Drive.
The venue only holds 150 people, but police said about 1,000 people showed up for the talk. By about 9 p.m., police had shut down Virginia Avenue and extra units were called in to help with crowd control.

It's a teachable moment!!
“The Orlando Sentinel reports Democrat Congressman Alan Grayson brought three of children to use as human shields at a town hall meeting tonight on health care.”
Chickensh*t.
My former and hopefully future congressman is holding a town hall Tomorrow in Jackson Michigan.
I’m just glad that some of the common Democrat tactics I’ve seen at the local and state levels of politics are getting some national exposure. Some of the earliest lessons in practical politics I learned in my college days were: 1) when faced with public anger, Democrat politicians will bring children to meetings, and 2) that local party machines rely on local union goons to harass the opposition as well as to steal, burn, or deface opponents’ political signs. Harsh lessons that taught me that banana republic thuggery lurks not so far under the surface of the Democrat Party machine. Gore’s nonsense in 2000 brought some of it to light. The current thugs are bringing more to light. Let’s hope that Americans are noticing.
Agreed...except no one’s thrown their hat in the ring yet against Grayson. I can’t WAIT til that happens.
IOW invite any potential candidate to take notes, make a list of what the people want outside of the meetings. (don't forget a good bullhorn so people can hear what is being said....a back of a pickup would make a good "soapbox".
Well, now you’re driving my memory nuts. What’s the name? Geeze I hate this.
"This is not free health care for everybody," Grayson said. "It's not close to it."
Well he was honest about that much at least.
Maxwell reports only 40 or 50 people got in for the meeting. Most of the Rats wouldn't give up their seats.
He also reports on Grayson's human shield moment:
"I've got 3 children here, sir. Show some respect."

That's what Grayson said to someone who shouted "That's not true."
The statement in question was Grayson claiming that a Marist (sp?) College said only 6 percent of Americans were satisfied with the current health care system in this country.
A show of hands in the room suggested closer to 30 percent present were satisfied.
Right: A real man
Left: A real coward
That is NOT a “match”
Needed repeating.
