Obama is speaking before the VFW now. Except for a dozen people or so, they are sitting on their hands. Vets know who the real Obama is. Occasional applause for apple pie statements. For the most part, silence.
Perhaps, but not having served in the military, I can only surmise that they are duty-bound to respect the Office, despite the sniveling little snot-ball currently occupying it.
I think that the 'silent-treatment' is effective yet respectful. Remember that the men & women of our military are of a far more adult caliber than the Infant-President.
What’s “head flipping?”
Me: Maybe 50 clapping.
Wow! That was invigorating! I liked that even more than seeing Spincter get mauled at that Town Hall.
lets watch to see if they doctor the applause in replays...
As in people who oppose your health care take over? He just can't help himself, can he?
He is almost running to get out of there...lol!
Oh wow.....the Vets didn’t let me down....thanks all for the play by play so I didn’t have to watch...lol
I think 12 of them applauded besides those stuck on the stage.
It really was painful to watch...........he will have to lock himself in the bathroom on AirForce 1....probably smoke half a pack or something else.
Was the head of the VFW really on Fox news this morning, praising Obama?? I saw that on another thread and couldn’t believe it.
The METRONOME TOTUS!!! Tick-Tock-Tick-Tock!
Looses his rhythm when anything is important!
you should pass that on to Rush- that’s a great idea....the ONLY way I can listen to chairman obama is when Rush speeds up the tape and zero sounds like one of the chipmunks...
I heard he had their tongues cut out so they couldn’t speak or their chairs wired for electrical shocks if they said anything he didn’t want to hear.
Did you notice the older vets in 2nd row? They never unclasped their arms when O was shaking hands. The prez was noticeably nervous. Good!
Especially, since Iraqi’s President and the former U.S. President, already worked out the details - of the troop withdrawals!!!
Excellent!!
When I heard 13,000 I could hardly believe it! Where did they hold the meeting?
I suppose his technique is to wear down the opposition, but he
is irritating and overexposed. I think people are getting sick of him.
That would have been impolite and classless.
When they extend the courtesy to listen to him then they can rightfully claim his in return.
Baraq reads from two teleprompters one on each side of the podium.
He never looks straight ahead at the camera.
He constantly “flips” his head back and forth between them, something I’ve never seen for a prominent public speaker, it’s very distracting to the viewer.
I’ve discovered that his flip frequency seems to go up if he’s nervous.
