This Government has Laser Beams to annililate rogue broadcasters and viruses to infect bloggers. The world has changed. Defiance is required earlier than later.

Among other 1st Amendment crimes, a school principal in west FL may face prison time for a prayer he uttered within earshot of students.

Ditto. Now this is really frightening and something must be done to save the country . . . before it’s too late. If they can shut down our communications, they will have won and it is clear that is their agenda.

They take away the 1st Amendment, we fully exercise the 2nd and use it the way it was intended.

Thank you for posting this. I am sure, however, that every poster is being monitored. Big Brother is watching.

And all newspapers should provide the same fee to the GPO - government printing office.

Mark Llyod, Van Jones, Rahm & Zeke Emanuel, Larry Summers, Rev Wright, Bill Ayers & his skank 'wife', etc etc etc.
As my grandmother used to say: 'You can tell a lot about a person by the company they keep'.
Well... its pretty clear then what kind of person Obama is and what he believes.

There is a certain romance to that idea: mobile pirate radio stations operating in the shadows, taunting a repressive government to the secret whoops and cheers of their audience. Wolfman Jack blasting rock-and-roll into the Western desert on his Mexican 100KW XTRA transmitter, thumbing his nose at the FCC.

Many of us Conservatives are rebels at heart, and be glad of that, for I believe it is what will ultimately save us. But today, we have the Internet, and even if the FCC moved to block conservative programming, voice over Internet cannot easily be stopped, and any attempt to do so would find the same multinational and offshore paths as pirate radio. There's also shortwave, which provides a global reach (with a powerful enough transmitter).

In any event: bring it on, Obama - all you are doing is stirring up a giant hornet's nest of dissent and engaging people who have been made to endure too much for too long. In my mind, I can almost hear Johnny B Goode wafting across the warm Senoran night sky...

In the last couple weeks on talk radio, I’ve heard ads for HAM radio. Never heard that before — ever.

They keep pushing and pushing and pushing. Sooner or later, the country will reach a critical mass and people will push back hard.

I just can't decide if they are doing this on purpose or if it will be the unintended consequence of their believing their own press and being utterly blind to public sentiment.

Obama will blame conservative talk radio for the stinging rebuke of his health plan and will seek revenge. Reinstating the Fairness Doctrine is only the beginning and I expect the First Amendment will be just word in the very near future. I hope Fox News and conservative broadcasters have plans to start broadcasting on short wave from other countries.

” I just can’t decide if they are doing this on purpose or if it will be the unintended consequence of their believing their own press and being utterly blind to public sentiment. “

Not ‘blind’ - completely indifferent...

That’s the arrogance of those who would be our masters....

The drumbeat sermonettes crying for ‘lowering the rhetoric’ is evidence that we’re getting to them — we’re awfully hard to ignore when we’re being so loud..... ;)

...Heard this last week, and, a good post...

...Don’t fear Big Brother, we are growing, and, they fear us, for the message. There is a new underground, “Weather or not you listen to us, we will go Ham or CB or pirate radio, we will be underground, and the new resistance”...

NPR should be funded solely by the Democratic Party, left-wing organizations like MoveOn.org and their left-wing listeners.

After all, NPR is nothing more than their left-wing, partisan mouthpiece.

The causality runs the other way. Journalists have an inherent tendency to promote themselves, and promote journalism. Politicians have the inherent motivation to promote themselves, and the easy way for a politician to promote himself is to toady to the journalists and get the journalists to reciprocate.

Journalists and politicians have every incentive to promote the idea that the people you depend on are crooks or incompetents, because saying so puts the journalist and the politician on a higher level than the people who actually provide your milk, eggs, bread, electricity, fuel, automobiles, medicine and medical care, etc, etc.

Journalists give good PR to politicians who promote journalism. They call them "progressive" or "liberal" (which, until the 1020s, was the word for what is now called "conservative") and they put positive spin on the behavior and policies of such politicians.

The Right to Know

Obama has gone on record that Rush is his opponent. Therefore, anything which the federal government does on Obama's watch which disadvantages Rush is constitutionally suspect and must be thrown out by SCOTUS.

Some people are already warning of the coming "push back".

Record and play this back, LOUDLY at our protest and demonstrations!...
