Just bought an AR-15, piece by piece. About to take it to a gun shop for final assembly.

I agree with your tagline!

Unfortunately this administration and it’s backers are using urine!

Teasin ya...she helps me build em. Let her do her Dads birthday present build with a litte supervision of course. She did a great job.

Good luck on the build

Suggestion..Depending on Manufacturer, Order the manual and assemble it yourself. Take your time. There are a couple of tools and special gages you will need but they are not expensive and worth having if you are serious. You will learn more about your weapon and have a deeper understanding of its operation. This knowledge can come in very useful in a pinch. If you are nervous you can always have your work checked by a gunsmith.

Just a suggestion.

They're easy to put together yourself. I build a lower in about two hours, and I've never owned one before. I did buy the upper complete, but they're even more simple than the lowers. I was amazed at the sweet logic built into how every piece went together. I was also amazed that something that was built for combat in terrible conditions relied on so many tiny little pins and springs.
