Wow! An opportunity to wait in airport lineups in 56 different locations. To say nothing of the endless possible combinations and permutations of lost-luggage events.

10 flights for $60 each for a month? Would make for a heck of a vacation!

With football season coming up, this could be a good way to follow away games

Check their service area, it is way too skimpy; most flights are along the east coast with 3 destinations on the west coast and probably not good on connecting flights.
haven't found the fine print yet.

Heard about it. Sadly it's when I go back to school.

Actually, that's probably not the best month for travel (from the airline's perspective) so i can see why they did it then.

Think of us when you’re flying your private jet.

Would not be surprised if this is full of caveats, such as only applying to standby seats and/or “select flights” (those which are historically undertraveled).

A friend and I are considering trying to travel to around the country to different baseball games. We think we can do 12 games in 12 cities. I just wish I had more vacation time left so I could do more.

Reminds me of when the riggers announced that there were plenty of extra chutes and the helicopters would keep hauling jumpers, you could squeeze in jump, after jump, after jump, in a short but physically draining period.

Braniff had one of these offers back in 1979, aimed at foreigners like me who had to fly Transatlantic with them. For GBP 200.00 (IIRC), I flew all of May 1979, FIRST CLASS! (Coach was GBP 150.00 IIRC).

Believe me, for a solo 19yr old Brit with nothing better to do it was one sweet and probably never to be repeated vacation!

Essentially, whenever I got hungry I would hop a flight and enjoy their in-flight menu (1st class, remember). They did steaks very well! I managed 50 flights that month, including 4 on a leased Concorde (DFW/Washington day trips).

Yes, Braniff bit the dust months after.
