I wanted to write a post on that business industry study showing that the Houses global warming bill will bludgeon the economy, but its simply too depressing/enraging after a long week of depression and rage. Have at it in the comments if you can muster the energy. Instead, since we havent had a good religion food fight in a while, enjoy stalwart lefty Ed Schultz discovering the joys of faith-based politics.
Its a testament to how vile the lefts rhetoric has become, especially when mouthed by MSNBCs primetime line-up of demagogues, that this line of attack comes off as comparatively genteel. Although maybe thats due in part to Schultzs guests here not barfing up the talking points hes expecting. Take a page from Olbermann, Ed: Make sure to screen the guests for total ideological conformity before you put them on the air. That way there are no surprises.
My very strong suspicion is that if I posted this on a lefty site, all the Christians there would say yes, of course Jesus wants universal health care. As it is, opinion among Christians here will be unanimous that he doesnt or that hed have no opinion (render unto Caesar, etc.) Exit question: Arent the lefties right?

NO!
He would want for no need of government or healthcare!
I’ll say what the left says when I bring up the gay marriage issue, we have separation of church and state, the establishment clause, etc.
“Jesus, forgive Ed Schultz and Keith Olbermann” even though they know what they are doing. Amen.
I am offended.
NO.....not at the expense of others which is exactly what this Bill will do.
No. Charity to your neighbor is freely given, not forced. Or legislated.
He gave us “Universal Health Care” on the cross......”by his stripes WE ARE healed”
Don’t be shocked people as Jesus said many would come in his or use his name, FALSELY.
MSNBC mocking Christians again.
Hey, Ed! Try using that analogy substituting Allah.
Ed Schultz is an idiot sports talk host from North Dakota. Last I checked there were zero sports in North Dakota so Fat Eddy switched to politics.
Just another cheap shot at Christians by a little, liberal piggie.
Jesus did not say, "Do unto the government as you would have the government do unto you." Caesar had the coins; disciples had the love.
As it is today.
Jesus would be firmly against having us enslave our neighbors to pay for our needs. He would have us earn the goods and services we use, not steal them using tax agents backed by the full power of a national government.
This clown is just one of many maggots in a landfill that is MSNBC. I wouldn’t watch Schultz’s show if you paid me.
