Faced with the prospect of an economic disaster caused by a man-made drought, hundreds of concerned citizens from California's Central Valley today engaged in a massive protest at the Concord, California district office of Democrat George Miller.

Miller and Congressional Democrats had an opportunity just a few weeks ago to turn on valley water pumps again, in time to avert a disaster via HR 3105, but Miller voted instead to protect a non-threatened species of fish [the Delta smelt] and his extremist supporters rather than California farms, farm workers and the millions of people who depend on them for food.

I remember something about the old west when the ranchers water was cut off or damed up, they blew the dam. Cutting water off to farmers because of a fish is plain stupid.

Hannity had a live protest on TV the other night from central Ca. including actor Paul Rodriquez who has a relative farmer affected by this enviro-nonsense crap by the tyrannical ‘Rats. They were shouting ‘Fish don’t vote’.

The majority of people protesting were Hispanics. Don’t Pelosi/Miller care about them? This is the beauty of liberalism. One group gets pitted against another group.

Rodriquez did state on Hannity that was not the change he voted for. Oh well-—maybe next time wiser!

I’ve always thought that Miller just oozes sleaze. I can’t believe those people keep sending him back to Washington.

George Miller has been in the environmentalist back pocket for years. George Miller and Nancy Pelosi care zero about the farmers or farmworkers in the Central Valley.

Earmarks equal bribes. Wonder how much the Smelt People donated to Miller and Pelosi.

This is the beauty of liberalism. One group gets pitted against another group.

Don't you mean the beast instead of the beauty?

So the rich, white, liberal long haired tree-hugging Sierra club is being mean to the Hispanic population. Therefore, Sierra Club must be prejudice against the Hispanic people.

I wish you could trade him in too.

How can California be so burdened with such has Boxer, Pelosi, Miller and Feinstein?

I wish we could turn in Costa too. He will vote for the central valley interests if the opposition already has plenty of votes. Then he comes home and says he represents us. Noooo ... he represents whatever the Dimwits want him to represent.

I saw a video of what has happened to that once rich farming area. The farmers got caught between a hammer and a sickle.

Perfect description, SJB.

If our Hammer & Sickle Gov’t has its way, all food will be imported, while California continues to drown in red ink.

You are lucky that you got out of here. We would love to move but haven’t decided where or when.
