USCWII is entering its third month, with heavy fighting on both coasts. Massachusetts is officially an “occupied state”. Reports of the first of the FEMA detention camps being liberated in Tennessee.

Republicans will pick up many seats in 2010 (which is natural) . Furthermore I dont expect a congressional landslide for republicans on the order of 1994? Why?

Because in 1994 democrats had been in charge of congress for 40 years. No one ever saw a republican congress, and a republican congress and president together was unthinkable. The country had reason for hope in those days, as did I. I was a different person then and used to talk about how conservatives would fix the country with reduced government and free markets if they ever got power.

But now because of GWB and republicans so recently ,and Obama and democrats now ,there will be a rational air of hopelessness that will be in the air in 2010, we have no one to turn to. This is the Tea Party revolution. Gridlock is our only hope,

I have heard many predictions,

2010,

No more social security,

Guns are banned, Freespeech restricted.

American soldiers mutiny against Obama when he tells them to patrol the people so he invites foreign armies to our shores,

No more food stamps,

100 trillion dollar debt

40 trillion dollar deficit

no more jobs

no more homes,

record homelessness,

The rich liberal elitists and their parasites get richer and richer while we get poorer

No more freedom life liberty and the pursuit of happiness

I think the end of America will come either between 2010 or 2015. Maybe sooner.

I for one am not optimistic of the future of this once great country. If We hit our knees, repent before God and fight back we can take it all back in 10 years. Otherwise, it will be 100 years before we ever see another nation as free and great as America.

This is 1994 on steroids. -50 to -60 in the House, maybe more. -6 in the Senate. Could be even worse. Watch out for Wag the Dog.

After the November 2010 election: Senate: 54 Dems, 46 Reps. House: GOP gains 50 seats. Harry Reid is on the news whining about the dirty campaign that cost him his seat.

The only thing that is going to result in a clean sweep on Congress is going to be the result of even more overreaching than we’ve seen so far, don’t think it isn’t possible or bloodshed in the streets between the takers and the tax payers.

I would love to see someone run on a platform of abolishing government and public sector unions as a fiscal matter all levels of government can’t afford but that’s not going to happen.

Dems retain the House, by a narrow margin, effectively giving control to the Blue Dogs, who assert their will over the new Speaker Steny Hoyer.

Dems retain the Senate, but lose seats. Several upsets, including Toomey in Pennsylvania. But John Corzine stuns pollsters to win re-election in NJ.
