OK it's the day after Election 2010(in'n there is one), what does the US Political landscape look like?

Actually, I’m not convinced that there will be an election in November of 2010. The current mood of the country tends to trend more towards civil unrest.

I’ve been doing a LOT of “gut feel” speculation and, so far, I have no sense that zero will finish his first term in 2012, nor do I have a sense that there will be an election next year.

Call me crazy (and many of you will! *grin*) but, since the election last year, my “gut feel” has been that zero’s popularity would start to decline by this summer (which it has been) as more of his supporters came out of their stupor. By November of this year, I believe that zero will cement his legacy as being the most unpopular and worst president EVER!! My sense is that there are two possibilities right now - 1) he will be overthrown (along with the Congress), or 2) the remainder of his presidency will be spent with him “cloistered” (read “in hiding”) in the WH because it will be too dangerous for him to venture out.

These are weird for me, just as I am sure they are stupid and crazy for many of you. I can’t explain my feelings. I’ve never had anything like this in my entire life so, take it with as many bags of salt as you please. I’m trying to do the same.

They could lose Missouri; Robin Carnahan is popular statewide and the GOP is setting itself up for a primary fight. Dodd may look vulnerable now, but he’s still a Democrat and it’s still Connecticut. And unfortunately I won’t believe Reid losing until I see the stake through his heart.

2)how the ‘conservative movement’ led by Sarah Palin secretly funded the Tea Party protests of April 15th in attempt to overthrow the government

3)how Dick Cheney caused the Financial meltdown in 2008 in attempt to assume the presidency

It’s a bomb at the box office yet in Feb of 2011,it gets nominated for 13 Oscars including Best Actor for Sean Penn and best original screenplay by the DNC.

My sister works in a political position in Nevada. And she's a Dem. She says they've already written Reid off. And honestly, they'll be happy to see him go. They regard him as an embarrassment. The biggest loser is Rory Reid, Harry's son. The family name is tainted.

GOP gains some seats in the House, a couple in the Senate

I would predict more....but somehow someway the GOP will screw it up....dis-avowing the Conservative base again to pander to liberals, Illegal aliens, Hispanics, etc..... I would be more confident if that idiot Michael Steele was not in charge

These times are like no other and the perfect storm is going to hit the Commie/Rat majority like Katrina. A huge turnout of independents, Democrat cross-overs ( moderate, conservatives) and GOP hit the polls hard (long lines) and several Democrat “safe” seats are stunningly lost. The carnage is going to be great Senate: GOP 55 Rat 45 (Bye Harry), House: GOP 283 Rat 152 (Bye Nancy)

Obama’s birth certificate will be found and we will have President Plugs.

Interesting scenarios. I really believe that at some point Zero’s performance will become so abysmal that even the butt licking MSM will throw up their hands in collective disgust and turn on him. When that happens ANYTHING is possible from our narcissistic commander in chief.

USCWII won’t be until about 4-6 months after nov 2009.

You might have it pegged. The Bush tax cuts expire next year so we will all see a massive increase in taxes. Add to that the the smoke 'n mirrors "tax cut" that zero gave everyone with the reduction of $13.00/wk in their tax withholding (but NOT their taxes!!!).

When people realize that they will still have to pay the taxes on their Obama "tax cut" and that it will take even more money out-of-pocket than if they had had the money withheld, I would NOT recommend getting between "the people" who have been duped by the First Liar and the First Liar!!!

Ahmadinejad will take the podium and proclaim a massive landslide for the Democrats. The Democrats probably rigged Iran's election for Ahmadinejad and now he owes the Democrats.

Fraud will be pervasive. Eric Holder in refusing to prosecute the New Black Panthers has signaled fraud will not only be tolerated and will further encourage all attempts undermine honest elections.

Vicky Kennedy whom Duval Patrick appointed to replace her late husband will lose the election to a Republican!

Two Republican Representatives will be elected to replace Tsongas and Olver. Two races will require recounts, McGovern and Delahunt. As Katie Couric (who believes it was JFK who said, "To whom much is given, much is expected." cries on air, other newscasters are stunned that 96% of voters over the age of 50 turned out to vote and at the stunning losses for the Democrats across the country. Keith Blubberingman whines, "Is no district safe from the Nazi voters?!"

My dream is that a new political party (based on a hybrid of conservative and libertarian values) sweeps into power and sucks the non-RINO Republicans into the fold. But the reality is that we are going to need to rely on the Republicans to regain power. The opportunity is there - let's see if they rise to the occasion.

I predict that the Democrats will lose 70+ house seats and five or six senate seats.

If Obama loses his support base in the MSM and the Democrat Party and starts acting irrationally, look for senior officials in the Administration to restrict his access to the military and nuclear weapons, as Kissinger and Schlesinger did to Nixon in 1974. Rahm Emanuel and the Chicago mob will lose access to top secret information as happened with Haldeman and Erlichmann. The “permanent government” will effectively force Obama out of office, as happened with Nixon, or convert him into a figurehead, not unlike Queen Elizabeth II.
