Yeah, but it’s really stupid to move the body in a true self defense situation.

Agreed. But you have to give the guy points for style.

Agree with your comment.
But I could also see myself doing something like that, as I would be so &(*&@(*$&) MAD that I might stick the dirtball in the trash....
Couldn’t put the body in “recycle” as the courts would likely have already done that several times without positive results.

All jokes aside, you're right about that.
Once the guy was killed, nothing should have been touched until after the cops & detectives showed up and did their investigation.
Still, the trash can was the best place for the guy.

Yeah, but its really stupid to move the body in a true self defense situation.Unless you're worried about revenge from the perp's friends.

Yeah, but its really stupid to move the body in a true self defense situation. Probably done because of Chicago's totalitarian gun ban.

Yeah, but its really stupid to move the body in a true self defense situation. True. It'll make the detectives suspicious. But really, when something so hugely stressful like this happens, it's difficult to think clearly. Especially at first. People do silly things under stress. Hopefully the prosecutor will recognize that.
