CNN: The Senates second-ranking Democrat slammed recent town hall protests Sunday as organized disruptions of the democratic process.
We have these screaming groups on either side. That isn't helpful. Let's be honest about this. Town meetings are not bean bag, I've had hundreds of them and sometimes folks get upset. And that's part of America, part of our process, Sen. Dick Durbin told CNNs John King on State of the Union.
But this is clearly being orchestrated and these folks have instructions. They come down from a Texas lobbyist in Washington
" he said.

Can you post a link or start a thread with the Craig’s list information? Some freepers won’t believe it until they see it...
No, that's a Democrat tactic. The Republicans wouldn't know how to organize something if their life depended on it.
Or the postings on Craigs List for activists to be PAID to support health care at the town hall meetings....(for real)

Also put in Craig’s List search of campaign jobs to reform health care and came up with these listings:

The MSM is concerned Republicans are being organized by hearing Glen Beck talk on the radio about meetings. Then their side is paying people who don't give a flip about the issue to pretend they do... And the MSM is oh so quiet about this...
I would do a vanity post - but I don't know how.... do you know someone who could post this... Sickoflibs?

Not sure what you want me to post but to post a vanity type simply select ‘Bloggers and Personal’ at the first post prompt. Otherwise email me with what you want posted.

Thanks - these are links to sites where dems offer people jobs to act like they’re real protesters. The dem side doesn’t have any concerned citizens - just paid shills...

Good stuff, thanks.
Paid protestors? What if the money comes from stimulus? I like to troll around their websites and see what they are up to.
What do you think freepers should do in response? My idea would be to get conservative plants to take these jobs as spies.
Really - don't dare do that - these people are dangerous.
Where is your sense of adventure? Unlike many other freepers I like to study liberals and could imitate them. Think cold war! It could be a blast. Problem is I am a republican which they can look up, I need to change that.
Sure, don’t see why not—however, nearly 2:00 am. here, so I’m going off-line for tonite. Feel free to do if you have time before I do...
They send trolls over here to try to get us to act like them - then they run to their "we suck more" useful idiots at the New York Times and 60 Minutes and get them to do a big investigative report on us. All spoon fed to them of course.
The people at the bottom are told "game" fun - everyone does it. And they gin up a few examples. I can assure you - it's not a game.
So please don't encourage us to act like them - it's wrong - and dangerous - we would be exposed. The "game" the dems play is deadly serious - big money is involved. Don't take unnecessary risks, sickoflibs - you need to stay safe.
My lines of thinking are similar to Rush's Operation Chaos. I have also many times proposed republicans covertly encouraging the Left-bots to refuse to compromise on single payer, better to have democrats meltdown than republicans take the heat for no reform (because they will compromise if they get the blame, mark my words, look at GWB history.)
In the case of your links these are posted jobs. Maybe a freeper needs a job. Maybe those in groups should be wondering if they can trust each other. If they must sign a loyalty oath is that not like the 1950s black listing they endlessly complain about?
Look we don’t want to be like them - they are liars in word, action and deed. Let them have that ground. Dems - the party of liars and cheats.
It’s the citizenry that knows freedom and history rebelling against the orchestrated attempt by the Left to socialize the Country via the instrument of health care.
Where is this idealistic viewpoint coming from?
Speaking of acting like them. The past week or so there are many many posts about the Obama death panel deciding grandma must die. But Grandma is already on socialized medicine which is bankrupting the country with social security. Right now the death panel talking points are popular here because :1) democrats use similar lines to get seniors votes, 2) seniors probably dont trust Obama especially now 3) it's politically expedient at this time.
I am not bothered by my sense of fairness because I know democrats use similar arguments against republicans. My fear is that republicans are setting a stage where entitlements can never be cut, ever. In other words even if Republicans take power the spending and borrowing will continue unrestrained and the republicans hand wringing and disowning will too. Notice when it comes to the deficit, republicans claim medicare is democrats fault.
The argument proposed for this I get pinged with is “who cares about what happens after Obama?? We must defeat Obama NOW in any way we can, nothing else matters” similar to the McCain must win argument that didnt fly. But this is the same argument democrats told each other the past few years to win that got them in the mess they are in now with the public. Likewise republicans will never approach entitlements if in charge, and just give us more tax cuts spending and debt ala Bush.
Moral, republicans stand for nothing but 'vote for me' same as last year.
Sickoflibs: Your point is a good one. Medicare has to be reformed one day. There is already I think $37 trillion in unfunded liabilities burdening Medicare now and in the future. That will bankrupt the country and clearly is not sustainable. We’re not going to be able to touch Medicare to reform it in the future if we conceed the untouchability of Medicare point. There are definitely stronger points to use in fighting Obamacare.
On the other hand, having seniors mobilized to fight Obamacare and also hopefully to help end Democratic one party rule next year is a hard ally to pass up. But your overall point is valid.
