I agree. Just before I deleted the LGF from favorites they had developed a very unhealthy “Keith Olberman” like obsession with creationists. It seemed that every other posting was some rant or tirade agains creationists.

No -- the reason why people are going to be labeled "mobs" or "kooks" is because there's a sizeable contingent of right-wing people who ARE acting like mobs full of kooks. This isn't something being made up by the Dems or the media.

I'm only asking to ensure we're talking about the same thing. From what I've seen, the only over-the-line activity has come from the ObamaCare supporters camp:

- "Reserving" prime seating at townhall events for bussed-in ObamaCare supporters
- Preventing protesters from entering the townhall facility
- Sneaking bussed-in ObamaCare supporters in through a side door
- Pointing bullhorns in protesters' faces
- Ripping signs out of people's hands
- Shoving their way into and to the front of crowds of protesters
- Roughing up townhall attendees
- Slapping the face of political opponents
- Physically assaulting political opponents

I just want to make sure I'm not missing things that you're hearing, that the ObamaCare protesters are doing that is over the line.

If Mr. Johnson hasn't developed an extreme distrust & a healthy dislike for anyone who ISN'T screaming, yelling, pointing , pounding or THROWING HEAVY OBJECTS at Obama apologists, then he's simply not worth my time. Or yours.

I am very saddened to see LittleGreenFootballs go down the tubes as they have.

It started with Charles Johnson’s opposition to creation science. I used to just avoid those posts and focus on the Israel/fauxtography/anti-Obama threads.

He then went off on Girt Wilders (sp?) and again I avoided those threads... the “sins” of the pro-Europeans seems fairly mild to me, but whatever.

Then he went off more and more on the birth certificate issue... again, whatever, but boy there sure were fewer and fewer posts worth reading. It’s probably not something we’ll ever know, but why keep thrashing people over the birth certificate if you don’t agree? Let it go, and focus on something else.

I did love the posters over there — they were much more accepting and tolerant than Charles seemed to be. Class acts, most of them. I enjoyed the days of Gordon/nodrog and the trolls that stopped by. I was proud that I had an old login, and his blog features were excellent (the guy is a top-notch programmer).

I stopped subscribing to his RSS feed when he added more and more stuff about the “nirth certificate,” downright hateful stuff on creationism, and something else I can’t remember off the top of my head. Probably a bomb about Sarah Palin or something.

Imagine my shock today when I went over there, thinking maybe he had had a bad month or two... wow, there was not one post I’d spend any time reading. The Tea Parties are now on his radar screen. He went off on FreeRepublic this time (he used to link to posts here), and threw in Sarah Palin for good measure.

He’s around the bend too far to bother with any more. There are plenty of blogs to replace his and I don’t miss him at all. It’s too bad. JammieWearingFool is my new favorite. He’s one of Charles’ regulars! Also ZombieTime.

You’re not all that, Charles. Too bad. I don’t hate the evolutionists... why do you hate us creationists? And if FreeRepublic is so crazy, why are you obsessed with us? Heavens sake there are over 100 thousand of us posting here. Surely there’s someone you like.

I hope JimRob bans his domain for posts. That’s how I found him in the first place.

Well, I don’t have religion and I’m not religious either, but I’m a capitalist. Is he a capitalist, at least a Libertarian sort? Or a Liberal who believes in big government

I don’t think he actually believes in anything. He’s against a lot of stuff.... but rarely is he ever a proponent of anything- except maybe himself.

Good example: Global Warming. I guess you could say he’s more on the side of the left... not because he actually believes global warming will end the world as we know it... no, because most people that are against global warming are religious... and in his mind lunatic idiots... so he can’t be on the same side as them.

The issues don’t matter to him. The ideals don’t matter. What matters is who supports the issues or ideals. The he triangulates between both sides to show that he is an independent thinker.
