“A Certification of Live Birth is not an acceptable document. A COLB carries very differently than a “certified birth certificate” as far as the law is concerned.”

Sorry dude, but a Hawaii COLB will get you a driver’s license in any state or a U.S. passport from the State Dept. Or be accepted as prima facie evidence in any court of law.

Pound on the table or stomp on the floor if you like, but it won’t change that fact. You must impeach the information on the COLB itself. Try this:

Uh dude, did you see posted anywhere that a COLB is acceptable?

I have yet to see it anywhere.

The State Department says the following:
*A certified birth certificate has a registrar's raised, embossed, impressed or multicolored seal, registrar’s signature, and the date the certificate was filed with the registrar's office, which must be within 1 year of your birth. Please note, some short (abstract) versions of birth certificates may not be acceptable for passport purposes.

And yes we want to impeach the information on the COLB like calling the father African, which is not nor has ever been a category or description of race.

Moreover, why didn't Barry present one of the two we know he already has?

the one he found among his mother's belonging
the one he used to obtain his passport and to get into college

Where are they and why go to the trouble of producing another document that is incomplete?

Here is a company that tells you point blank what you need to obtain a Passport:

http://www.visahq.com/birth_certificate.php
The following documents are NOT ACCEPTABLE for passport applications:

Notarized photocopies of Birth Certificates
Hospital birth records or certificates

NOTE: Applicants born in California MUST submit a Long Form Birth Certificate. Short Form or abstract Birth Certificates are NOT ACCEPATBLE.

You can prove your US citizenship with one of the following:
Original Birth Certificate (if born in the United States);
or Old (undamaged) passport;
or Original Certificate of Citizenship or FS-240, DS-1350 ( if born outside the US );
or Original Certificate of Naturalization issued by the Immigration and Naturalization Office.
Note: A certified birth certificate has a registrar's raised, embossed, impressed or multicolored seal, registrar's signature, and the date the certificate was filed with the registrar's office, which must be within 1 year of your birth.
