Fox News commentator and human lightning rod Bill O'Reilly is considered one of the most polarizing and partisan talk-festers on TV or at least that's been his reputation until now. All that may change on Sunday, when the combative conservative's Parade magazine piece carried in newspapers coast to coast hits front lawns and porches all over America.
Titled "What President Obama Can Teach America's Kids," O'Reilly prefaces his essay with an assertion that few reputable sociologists would quarrel with that "the disruption of the American family" is adversely affecting millions of the nation's young people. "Our modern age presents vast challenges to children, and they need to learn lessons quickly in order to prosper," O'Reilly adds. "And who better to teach them than the President of the United States?" O'Reilly takes note of Obama's own "tough" childhood, one characterized by a nomadic single parent and bouts of loneliness. He avers that Obama's ability to turn these constraints into a life of singular achievement provides a wonderful lesson for all of America's young people. "His achievement presents five important lessons for all children," Reilly states. The five traits identified by O'Reilly traits embodied in Obama's life story are the following: Forgiveness Respect Persistence Hard work The idea that in America, anything is possible. The last lesson is especially applicable. Indeed, the list of examples proving that "anything is possible" in this country might include a certain essay published on Aug. 9, 2009. That will go down as the date when Bill O'Reilly put down his boxing gloves, disarmed his critics, lauded a liberal Democratic president, and did Fox News proud in the process. And it wasn't even Father's Day.
O'Reilly puckering up on Obama's rump can only mean one thing--he's trying to land an interview with Obama again. I can always tell when O'Reilly is trying to land an exclusive interview---he starts his shameless, pathetic and embarrassing sucking up.
BOR in FULL ass-kiss mode.
You think BOR will buy Odumbo a loofah?
O’Reilly is a blowhole. He’s partisan towards whatever party he decides to be in on any given day.
Does he mention a loofah in the letter? Perhaps a nice tongue bathing of the royal jewels?
Yawn....BO must need some $$$$.
BOR needs to jump over to CNN. That would improve the average IQ of FOX and CNN
I havent watched O’Reilly since he talked to Obama.
Hey Bill....
Here is your new "word for the day"....:
Idolatry
It’s inexplicable that BOR has the top-rated show. I’d rather watch Glenn or Greta.
This is a little surprising, as BOR has been cutting BHO a lot less slack on his program ever since he stepped into it with “Gates-gate”. But BOR is also tight with the publisher of Parade Magazine. Very tight. And he knows how to exchange “favors”.
LOVING that post!
BOR wants people to know he’s smart, well-educated and effete. He reminds me of the prissy leftists I am forced into proximity with each and every day. If people don’t, can’t or won’t raise their offspring under two parents there is absolutely NOTHING society MUST do. Charity can help, but why do I need to put $100.00 sneakers, iPods XBox 360s and a full tank of gas into the hands of an “underprivileged youth” who is just as likely to rob me a second time?
“Time to boycott BOR big time. I say this as a former fan, he lost me the night he did his Obama interview...as McCain was giving his acceptance speech in Minneapolis.”
Me too
I can’t stand the arrogant BOR! I wonder if he has progressed to text-message sex?
O’Reilly is wildly successful and will continue to ride high AS LONG AS his ratings are up. If they ever fall he won’t have a friend in the World.
I’d rather watch a tv turned off than BORe.

Sounds like a man-crush. Chrissie is going to be jealous.
I for one, welcome our Socialist overlords. /BORe doing his best Kent Brockman imitation.
