I attended Dingell’s forum. They had so many people, they had to break it into two sessions, and there were still many people who couldn’t get in. The schmuck who moderated it was a representative from AARP and was loudly jeered. The ACORN and unions plants were there, but they were greatly outnumbered.
Dingell, who wrote the bill and kept telling us he wrote the bill (the crowd responded loudly that he didn’t even know what was in it, and got booed for writing it) got booed very loudly when he was introduced and when the meeting adjourned.
They thought they were setting a sympathetic mood by having a Dingell supporter with a horrible disease open the meeting by regaling us with her medical problems and telling us she was a social worker (which didn’t do much to gleen her any sympathy). The crowd didn’t appreciate being conned or lectured to and shouted, “We all have sob stories”. She left rather abruptly.
The crowd was relentless. We were sick of the lies and the b.s. he was giving us and clearly let him know we weren’t buying any of it.

That's freaking awesome. I'm proud that real Americans are starting to stand up to this fascism. Keep throwing the ridicule back in their faces.
Excellent point! This is not just a debate about health care, this is about freedom.
Thanks for your report.
