Tampa, Florida - Angry protesters and strong supporters are clashing inside and all around a health care reform town hall meeting in Downtown Tampa. The meeting which was scheduled to begin at 6:00 at the Children's Board of Hillsborough County drew hundreds of people who quickly began to overwhelm staff and event organizers at the front entrance.

Now is our chance to make health care work.

America’s health care system is broken. Health care costs are spiraling out of control, throwing families, businesses and government into financial crisis. Families are worried their health coverage won’t be there when they need it. Our country can’t afford to wait for health reform that keeps costs down and protects consumers.

We can’t wait for affordable, dependable health care.

We’re fighting for health care that will protect families’ financial health, lay out a clear path for all Americans to afford health care, and improve patient safety and quality care.

and strong supporters

The left wing rent-a-mobs have been called out to silence the civilian opposition to the democrats death care bill. They've been sending out e-mails for a couple of days now to rally the troops. Their goal is to reinforce the political talking points that claim the opposers of death care are hate filled, violent anarchists paid for by the RNC.
The left wing media, of course, will blame those speaking out on behalf of freedom for the manufactured chaos.

From the playbook, page 2

Arrive earlier than the other side - We need to stack our folk's in front to create a wall around the Member and we need to stake out the best spots for visibility and signs.

Page 3 We should demonstrate that we are the majority by chanting: When the other side gets too loud, we should shut them down with chants that county their message like “Health Care Can't Wait!”...

Page 4 - Choose a venue that is difficult for the opposition to access without being noticed - Get to your location early and make sure you est up the venue in a way that ensures that the attendees you want are at the front and that any protesters who come are sequestered as far as possible from the stage. Make sure you have signs and visuals up...

Plan for disturbances and assign marshals ...act as security should any need arise to ask noisy or disruptive protesters to leave. If you have cause to think you will need more back up, notify the police..

Inside, the townhall seated are mostly union members/supporters/people - yet seats remain empty. Hundreds of citizens outside. And yet public is not allowed in.

It's a pro-death bill photo op. There was no town meeting.

That's what they call projection.

And Lenin said, “That which you do, accuse others of doing.”

Why does this work?

1. It shifts attention from you to your opponents.
2. It brings the questionable/objectionable act out into the open for discussion, which desensitizes people to it.
3. By the time it comes back to the original perpetrator (the leftist), people are used to it and the perpetrator can now claim, “Everyone does it. Remember when so-and-so did it?”
4. Later, when the other side (patriots) accurately and rightfully condemn the leftist of the questionable/ objectionable act, they sound like they are playing the “so are you” game and their accusations lose the power of the original projection.

This is very dangerous. Because when dialog breaks down, violence breaks out. And there's nothing the Commie-in-Chief would love more than for Patriots to get so frustrated, they start getting physical. That would enable him to employ the full fascist tactics that he so admires in other dictators.

Yeah, my body's getting kind of old as well. Win or lose, when the adrenaline wears off you feel like you have a concussion.

Thank my mom for my convictions. If she was healthy she would be out there providing muscle as well. She would go toe to toe with anyone.

Odumbo will have some of his supporters appear to be on our side just to start physical violence so as to blame it on us. It is the way of a despicable despot.

Obama is taking a LOT of his cues and tactics from Hitler and the NZI’s...

Think Johann Georg Elser, a flunky that was found to “Attempt” an assassination of Hitler in a Munich Beer Hall, that, of course, was PLANNED to fail.

In today’s environment, where deranged liberals ALREADY kill innocents at the drop of a hat, or their mood-altering drugs, it won’t be that hard to find a willing martyr.

“I think we all need to jump in a frying pan to make an omelet like shmoos. Them we need to politely ask our overlords to eat us for breakfast.”

I’m not a wimp....just want to be smarter than them. When we react angrily, the congressmen look justified in their actions to restrict us. Just think about the images that come to mind from the civil rights movements. We need these bozos to look like Bull Conner, not Mother Theresa.

I’m all about action and plan on attending town meetings, and hopefully the Washington protest in Washington. I just think we need to think creatively about how we go forth. I can scream and yell and let the world know I’m angry, but I’d rather be effective in the long run. A discussion as to how best accomplish this is, IMHO, very much needed.
