Romney, who ran, in part in 2008 on his ability to forge consensus on health care in the Bay State, has generally avoided engaging Pawlenty on the issue.
But, when asked about Pawlenty's repeated jabs at his boss, Romney spokesman Eric Fehnrstrom offered a subtle pushback on the idea that the Massachusetts plan is a recipe for health care disaster.
"There's a reason why states and national health care reformers are copying the Massachusetts health care law, and that's because it works," said Fehrnstrom. "Mitt Romney is the only governor in history to get insurance coverage to nearly all his citizens. He got the job done."

The day that Pigs start to fly is the day that Romney-care and Obamacare will be successful. Amen.

"Mitt Romney is the only governor in history to get insurance coverage to nearly all his citizens. He got the job done." Romneycare logic: It works because it's going broke and the quality of care has considerably dropped.

“Just say no to Romney!”
Include Pawlenty!
Anyone that could get elected in Minnesota isn’t fit to hold public office!

RomneyCare versus ObamaCare.
Liberal Republican plan versus liberal Democrat plan.
No thanks!

The determination as to whether Romney Care works, is in determining if onerous taxation, questionable benefits and state bankruptcy are good things.
From the behavior of the Won, one can only discern that destruction of our current government to replace it with a dictatorship of some form is ultimate goal of these people.

Coming from a state that’s given us Ahnald, Barbie “chimney sweep” Boxer and Feinstein - now tbat’s funny. And no, I wouldn’t support Pawlenty for President in a primary.

Two questions:
- Who needs dueling RINOs when we have Sarah Palin?
- If the Massachusetts plan works so well, why isn't ObaMao pushing it (or even citing it as a model) rather than an even more socialized version?
Japan actually has a decent plan in some respects and it includes a public insurance option, but said option is last resort rather than first aid. The Japanese model depends on competition with more efficient private insurance systems to keep the public care costs down. Like all government programs, it loses money, but far less than it would otherwise under the single payer, government monopoly plan. Powerball jackpot typle lawsuits are also NOT part of the Japanese system which, I suppose, the public option advocates never refer to the Japanese system as a possible alternative.
Bottom line is that they don't want to bring costs down and make health care more affordable and accessable. They only want to control and micromanage a large sector of the economy. Some even want to have the power of life or death over we, the sheeple.

Counting down to the arrival of “Romneybots, TNG” as they thrill us with tales of how “Romneycare is a Conservative Plan, destroyed by the Democrats and nothing near what Mitt intended” while also ignoring the fact there here we have, ONCE AGAIN, Mitt and/or his minions praising the supposedly Democrat destroyed plan as being wonderful....
I mean can it get any better than that!?!?!

Sorry Tim Pawlenty you’re a McCain RINO, you raised fees on items and claimed it wasn’t a tax. Minnesota government got bigger. You will never get my vote again, no matter how you try to package it.
