VDH interview.
Hope Obama was not inspired by this movie when he was a teenager: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5t_GIRJ1_2k
BO has hurt our relationship with all of our allies.
I can’t imagine that our relations with Honduras have improved. And i wonder how Columbia feels about being stabbed in the back?
If youd like to be on or off, please FR mail me.

An excellent interview with Victor Davis Hanson.
The Brirish infatuation has cooled.

After the last couple of days, you could probably add South Korea to the list.
Agreed. What there was of it is stone-cold.
He’s definitely right about Israel, but I’m not sure I’d say we have better relations with all other countries. Sucking up to thugs and dictators might appear harmonious on the surface, but it’ll eventually blow up in Obama’s face and be worse than when he started in some cases.
‘
Also england, australia, germany and so forth
Thank you for the heads up. Hanson cuts through Obama’s BS quite well here.
VDH bump.
Poor Obama...maybe his hopes for a friend wre dashed when Honduras changed leaders.
I would say that Honduras is getting it worse at the moment relationship-wise but the existential threat to Israel is greater.
“In Chicago terms, Israel is the exploitive landlord, Palestinians the oppressed tenants—and Obama the superior, all-knowing organizer-mediator who will give pep talks to the Palestinians on “responsibility” and “self-help” while drawing material concessions from the too wealthy Israeli building owner.”
I often think the culture of “victim” is the same for blacks in the US and Palestinians. They would rather be victims and blame others than succeed. As a result they perpetualize their failure.
I hesitated to mention this in the Gates uproar, but the fact is he is not a bad guy. He took a very strong position against Nation of Islam and black anti-Semitism.
I chalk the dust up to just one more example of how Obama has actually set back race relations in this country by a decade.
