We had to get more chairs twice. Normal attendance is around 45 or so.
I have never seen people so angry and so frustrated. And not just Caucasians. Blacks are telling me that they are afraid to dissent.
My best friend is black - she was treated like crap by her CHURCH for not voting for Obama.
I'm hearing this from colleagues as well. It truly was a joyful moment for these friends when a Black person was elected president. It was a watershed and I expressed my joy for them (withholding my terror so as not to ruin the moment for them). But now... they see a disaster in the making and, more importantly for all of us, they see the potential for serious damage to race relations in America. Obama's failure will not reflect well on the Black community. We need to continue to reach out to blacks and honor those who understand the American ideal and who have made the decision to move forward as full citizens. The Democratic party Plantation has been exposed and it continues to hurt.
It would have been FAR BETTER for America to have elected a Republican First Black President rather than the extremist we now suffer with. They know that Obama is just being used by his handlers,Emanuel and Axilrod and those the public will never be able to identify... Used as a stooge and a puppet for very powerful, non-black interests... The ultimate useful idiot and it will hurt blacks big time when he is eventually abandoned for the next fool...
