Liberals Paint Health-Reform Protesters As Dangerous Nuts Tuesday, August 04, 2009 By Susan Jones, Senior Editor
(CNSNews.com) Democrats have a warning for Republicans: Angry constituents who berate their congressional representatives at public forums are dangerous people.
These are the sort of excessive displays that breed a backlash, wrote a Politico.com blogger on Monday. The national press secretary for the Democratic National Committee linked to the Politico item in a mass email on Tuesday, effectively endorsing the bloggers message.
Yes, there is now much energy on the right, Politicos Jonathan Martin wrote on Monday afternoon, adding there is danger in such raw passion.
Martin mentions Rep. Lloyd Doggetts recent encounter with protesters at an Austin area grocery store. Some of his constituents were captured on videotape shouting just say no (to the Democrats health care plan).
Two minutes into the YouTube video of the Doggett protest youll find a guy carrying a kid on his shoulders and hoisting a sign with the Nazi SS lettering, Martin wrote. (The hand-lettered sign appears to read SS Stop SS Socialized ?? health care.)
The New York Times quoted Doggett as saying that he was ambushed, not by grass-roots protesters, but by a very coordinated effort where the local Republican Party, the local conservative meet-up groups sent people to my event.

I will not be lectured by the same people who condoned this!!!
Hey, you liberal, lying KOOKS, KISS THIS...
Laura Ingraham was quoting some lib’s commentary on the picture of Obama as the new Joker. The commentary described how he was in “white face” with his mouth “cut”, etc etc calling it racist.
You officially cannot make parody images of Obamessiah now. It’s racist.
A chill wind blows.
there is danger in such raw passion.
So if the guys in ACORN, Americorps, Organizing For America or the camp attendees under Serve America Act get enthusiastic, will they be called “dangerous”?
Americans who react to Socialized Medicare in the SAME manner are “Co-ordinated Republicans ?
Wow, Repub recruiting is WAY UP !
Sometimes you feel like a NUT
Sometimes you don’t.
** ...a very coordinated effort where the local Republican Party,**
This is HIGHLY DOUBTFUL, BUT .. if coordination is true... “IT”S ABOUT DAMNED TIME” the GOP Grew a PAIR!!!

It’s very simple libs. Simply tell us exactly who these “plants” are working for. We have no problem finding out which Democrat your member of the “public” is being backed by when they appear at staged events.
New Black Panther Party members patroling with guns outside of a polling center on election day isn’t even considered “dangerous” or “intimidating” by this corrupt administration or their injustice department.
You idiot, this IS the backlash.
I’m flattered. I’ll have to ask Mrs WBill if she’s attracted to the “Dangerous Bad-Boy” type. :-)
We are supposed to forget about all of the Democrat staffers who asked questions at the “undecided voter” GOP debates in 2008.
It sucks to be them since they SET THE STANDARD!
Arkansas Congressman Boozman is ‘staying home with family’ during this recess. COWARD!
If anyone hears of a fundraiser he is having please let me know. I want to remind him that he doesn’t have time for the citizens of Arkansas (his employer) but I bet he has time for a fundraiser.
The Whitehouse, the Democrat Party and the Mainstream Media (I repeat myself) are doing their best to spin this. This should be fun to watch, since many mainsteam American's are involved in this protest.
Even Americans who support some sort of health care reform can sense the Democrats are in too much of a hurry and are trying to pass a bill before the issues have been fully examined.
People sense something is wrong. They saw the big rush to pass the stimulus bill without reading the bill, and has seen no positive results in the economy. They saw the rush to pass "cap and trade" before anyone had a chance to read the bill.
Americans smell a rat and certainly don't trust politicians.
Liberals best get use to it. It’s going to get worse as people really find out what’s going on in Washington. The internet not only helped get Obama elected, it will now help people see what he is really up to.
“IMPEACH BUSH & CHANEY
CHANGE HISTORY”
Change history? Change history? What, did they create a time machine?
Revisionists at play.
Not that it matters a lot, but aren’t these some of the same people who arranged for Code Pink protesters to get gallery tickets for GWBs SOU speeches several years in a row???
And now they want to dismiss the honest negative attention they are getting from their own costituents as organized protests? Sound like a classic case of projection to me.
I can’t help but want to scream ... So what?!?!
So what if people are getting together to plan and organize to make sure their voices are heard by every elected official they can find? Since when was that something to be maligned or dismissed? Is that not the very root of our democratic republic?
Even if these are in fact somewhat organized protests one would think the Dems would have great respect for the effort. Remember - “community organizer” is a sufficiently important and complex position to qualify one for a seat in the U.S. Senate and a 4 year stay at the WH.
But - it’s not that. It is by and large people who want to be heard and who want their representatives to know that they don’t support the further socialization of our country. And if they feel ‘threatened’ it is because they fear for their jobs. And they should. They’ve seen the numbers and none of them want to be out trying to find jobs in this market either...
