SEATTLE -- An Everett mother says she's outraged over a weekend protest full of naked cyclists.
The group was riding along the Seattle waterfront Friday night wearing nothing but smiles to expose some of the dangers they face.
But not everyone was smiling.
"I looked and there were naked men with their genitals hanging out," said Marcy Hayes, who was there with her 6-year-old daughter Ashland. "I'm yelling at my daughter to look away."
Hayes says she and her daughter walked out of the Seattle Aquarium and right into the path of a pack of cyclists and all their nakedness.
"I just can't believe this is allowed," she said. "I don't understand what law would say it is OK."
When it comes to naked cyclists, Seattle police have a high tolerance. They said it's not illegal to be naked in public unless you provoke or offend someone.

Seattle's tolerance of this kind of craziness never fails to amaze me. First it was naked bike riders becoming an annual attraction at its Freemont neighborhood parade, now they are riding right past tourist in downtown.

I guess I wasn’t too far off when I called the SF bike loons “Critical Ass”.
Critical Mass rides around downtown SF on the last Friday of every month clogging up commuter traffic and wreaking havoc.

A guy wears a rain coat and opens it just for a second to expose himself and he gets arrested. If he forgets the rain coat and just rides around town on a bike, and the police just wave at him and wishes him a good day. That’s Seattle.

A guy in the
KOMO video says they are protesting their 'indecent exposure' to polution and traffic, so I guess it's OK then?

I'm a serious cyclist (9000+ miles per year) and I detest these Critical Mass nitwits.
They give real cyclists a bad name.

Sure you can bike naked... but can you open carry? I bet some lefty would “feel threatened” and it would be a one way trip to jail.

Houston, Austin and Dallas.
In Austin there is a man, perhaps in his late 40’s to late 50’s who rides his bike around town every day with nothing on but a tiny g-string.
And yes, my daughter has seen him as well as thousands of other kids and they all seem to have survived.

Please, put something on!

And speaking of Austin, Leslie the person in the picture has ran from mayor several times. And yes, I did vote for him.
You can see Leslie in all his glory in downtown Austin almost every day of the week.
