Then someone needs to recall Hillary from - where, Kenya? - and ask her who dispatched her husband to NK.

I could not even begin to imagine what the Obama reaction would be if North Korea all of a sudden decided that they were going to create an international incident, holh Bill against his will until they get concessions out of Obama. Oh I think Obama would fold like a cheap suit.

Stated that the talks will probably escalate over and above the mere issue of the two reporters. The North Koreans are going for broke, hardball. I think Clinton is going to be in North Korea for quite some time as an 'honored' guest.

North Koreans seem to be saying he is officially negotating on behalf of the United States government and that they got high level Americans there (it seems they were boasting). On the other hand, the US side says it is nothing of the sort, and this is a private mission and effort.
Get out the popcorn, folks.

If he doesn’t have any diplomatic credentials, then he’s a tourist and subject to the Logan Act, especially if he’s meeting with some nuclear negotiator, let alone trying to free the journalists.

The Japanese news assessment was that while it may well start and be about those two silly girls, it necessarily WILL morph into discussions of the DPRK nuclear weapons program. At least that is what it said a few hours ago....

Screw those journalist, they work for Al Gore and George Soro’s network, Current TV. Let them rot.

Bill will be stopping in South Korean, so check up on the status of their Red Light districts, and see if there is anything his World AIDS Foundation can do to help.
To: mfnorman
If bill's going to take a trip, should we brace ourselves?
In the past he used to do that when ever things were going to hit the fan.

Holy smokes AiT, for 7:00 AM Eastern time, those visuals are not conducive to a good appetite for breakfast, lol
