You can save that image as a JPEG on your computer, then zoom in and plainly see the K. Ive got a Mac and Im using the Preview app. Ive zoomed in several levels, and though the photo gets blurry, the K is plain as day. In fact, its clearer at higher levels of magnification than the other letters and numbers. Ive zoomed in six levels and its still readable, while everything else around it is hopelessly blurred. I, Swordmaker, created the JPEG image that is at the top of this thread. I have the original PNG capture file on my desktop from which it was created. The letter is an "E"! The appearance of a "K" is an artifact of the conversion from PNG to JPEG caused by simplifying the anti-aliasing of the character displayed.

Hold the Presses! My daughter just showed me something.
She had me open both the Australian and Kenyan documents in Photoshop Elements. From there she had me under the Image menu "Divide Scanned Photos". Nothing appeared on the Kenyan document, however six layers pealed away from the Australian one.
These layers all showed distortion.
Layer 1 - Date and Place of Birth
Layer 2 - Father (followed by) Name, Surname, Age and B
Layer 3 - Name, Surname and Birthplace
Layer 4 - Issue { Living Deceased
Layer 5 - Signature, Description Informant
Layer 6 - The entire right section of the page, specifically the inserted text fields and bottom right quadrant
Will post these late tomorrow afternoon. The interesting thing about Photoshop elements is that on edited photos it will pull them apart. On unedited photos there will be no layering. All of the separated layers exhibited a great deal of pixel distortion around the letters.
I believe the Australian certificate is a fraud. I can not confirm the authenticity of the Kenyan document.
Will be heading to bed shortly.

Early on during this first megathread, I saved a copy of the Kenyan BC to my computer... I haven’t seen that particular “version” since. The BC image I saved is the one where an approximate one-inch tear is visible on the upper right fold of the document. Doc seems to be darker in general, too.
Is this one of the “alternates” the left is spamming us with? (How do I upload a pic to freep post?)
I continue to be amazed by the free market principles of the internet. Millions upon millions of consumers, gleaning information relentlessly until the truth is reached... Something like supply and demand price-setting. Like a force/law of nature, if you will. The truth will be known. (Maybe i’ve been at this too long, time to go to sleep!)
