Good point! Incrementalism is and has been quietly at work...but I think the American people are beginning to awaken to it.
God in Heaven is on his throne and, I believe, as his children do awaken, He is interceding. He has shown us over and over again in the Bible how if they (us!) will turn and serve Him, He WILL deliver them (us)! Also, I think I am not the only one asking Him to be mindful of His willingness to spare “the city” for the sake of the ten righteous. We are seeing by the polls the last time I looked,that we are yet a nation with a majority professing belief in God. I’ve been seeing this miracle of the town hall meetings and I think He is overshadowing the process. The government SHALL be on His shoulder!
If it is time for the Lord to put on His boots, so be it...but in the meantime, I believe that we should occupy until He comes, and do our best to be his servants.
The snitchers are in my view, among the “accusers of the brethren” and they shall be cast down according to God’s will and timing. By God’s grace He will spare us from being subjected to the extremes of the snitchers. If I get to feeling fearful about what could be coming, I have taken to saying to myself over and over, “not my will but thine be done, not my will but thine by done, not my will but thine be done!” It seems to help. It’s like Mother Mary’s response to Archangel Gabriel, “Behold, the handmaid of the Lord.”
