Sounds like he wasn't loaded for bear!

Most of these guys sound like they go to sleep expecting a grouse to break in to their home. It's called birdshot for a reason.

It's a photoshop, but I have seen a larger single shot 50BMG.

This is a great argument for allowing higher capacity shotgun tubes.

They're already available. Here's a Mossberg 590, 8-shot tubular magazine.
