Your right, this is a dead end, but it is Obama who has his back to the wall.
If he produces his birth certificate, then THAT particular issue will most likely be resolved, but I am convinced that the Original Birth Certificate, if there is one, when it is finally produced will open a whole new can of worms for Obama that he doesn't want opened.
This is not a calculated plot to make conservatives look like buffoons, but I believe it is a calculated plot to hide the fact of who Obama really is, and Obama doesn't want that information released to anyone.

The whole issue probably started because he took offense that someone would dare to ask for it. He is an insecure, arrogant, elitist.
He is insecure because he's afraid people will realize he is no where near as smart as people think he is. He's terrified people will realize he got where he is because he speaks nicely, smiles and makes himself out to be an easy going guy. He's arrogant because it's the best protection he has to keep people from realizing what an idiot he is. He's an elitist because of his political beliefs. When confronted with anything this type of personality usually reacts by saying no. Having done so initially, the controversy got started and then someone with a devious mind (Rahmn Emanuel) probably told him lets use this to our benefit.

Kelly J. McCrum is the wife of Craig M. Robinson. Craig Robinson is Michelle Obama’s brother.
The part of the transaction that I found odd was the creditor. Burlew Plumbing & Heating of New Jersey issued credit for the transaction.
Burlew also owns Magic Touch Construction Company Inc. This contractor does nonresidential construction, plumbing, heating, and air-conditioning.
Knowing how New York and New Jersey share contracts for Port Authority work, I can’t help but wonder if this is the same Magic Plumbing and Heating that had contract work at the World Trade Center on September 5th, 2001.
