Two sound bites one with video are on this YouTube video.

In the first the Grandmother says she was with Obama when he was born. It then appears she says, no he wasn't born in Kenya. Further it seems she recants the statement that she was there when he was born. In the second, she is shown stating that he was born in their village.

This clarifies what took place during the above phone call.

It's an electronic lead of about 4.5 minutes in length, during which the individual confirms his participation and exactly what transpired in Kenya during the phone call. He also mentions what actions he had taken to get to the bottom of the story.

A lot of folks are certain the issue of Obama's birth has been put to rest. I'm not confinced of that. I wouldn't say I'm convinced he was born in Kenya either, but it does raise my hackles to see someone act as if this issue has been put to bed. A few people who should know what took place, seem to think he was born in Kenya. His grandmother states she was there when he was born, and it was in Kenya.

The translater verifies she didn't recant that.

Sarah Obama in the full interview with McRae did NOT say that Obama was born in Kenya. that is a birther myth. In relaying the story that Sarah Obama claimed that Obama was born in Kenya, you are the victim and/or purveyor of a case of bad translation and an over eager bishop McRae, who in the middle of an interview thought she said that, but then got corrected.
