“Bozo...here is your source”

Wow. That was a waste of a few minutes. Horrible analysis. Based on the following excerpt, the author asserts SCOTUS held Wong Kim Ark and natural born citizens are of two seperate classes”

“...his [the resident alien’s] child...‘If born in the country, is as much a citizen as the natural-born child of a citizen…’”

You see, he says, the justices compared two people: a natural born child of a citizen and Wong Kim Ark. Therefore, the two cannot be the same. Because they were compared. Except for the fact that it says Wong Kim Ark is as much of a citizen as the latter, which means to me he has the exact same status as a child born of citizens, which means he can be president.

There is a lot more there than Wong Kim Ark but at least you read some of it unlike bozo who demands “sources” and “documentation” yet doesn’t read them when they are sent

He may be “as much a citizen”, but he is not “as much a natural born citizen”

You're reading an assertion into those words that isn't there.

The Justice said that the child of the resident alien is a citizen, not a natural born citizen.

This is a very common misreading of this statement, which I've seen on FR many times.
