TheObamaFile.com, an extensive information depot questioning Barack Obama's eligibility to hold the office of president, has vanished off the Internet, and its publisher believes the political end is also near for the commander in chief.
"This guy is coming down, there's nothing anybody can do about it," declares Parker Shannon, a 70-year-old retiree who has documented alleged violations by Obama for the past two years from his home in suburban Boston.
But Shannon stresses his decision to shut down the site had nothing to do with any kind of pressure from the government.
"The Obama camp didn't get to me. They can't," he told WND. "What got to me is my fellow Americans, the cheap bastards."

“What got to me is my fellow Americans, the cheap bastards.”
Does he even know there is a recession going on?
Unemployment is at highs?
Taxes are rising?
(and this is without even nothing the fact that web hosting is cheaper than it ever has been)
Vanished: Obama exposer disappears off Net Chicago style.
Not enough donations to make it worth while to do the work of maintaining the site. I can understand that.
...see you in the unemployment line A$$hole, have a nice day
Freerepublic could also go down without support.
I would think it would not be a bad idea if Jim were to initiate a special funding drive to get TheObamafile back online.
Losing a website like that means losing momentum in our struggle to Take Back America.
Web hosting is fairly cheap, but he was spending a lot of time updating and maintaining his content. Perhaps you’d like to volunteer?
That really sucks....I’ve never even heard of the site...wish I had.
What can we do to speed it up?
So, the site owner wants us “cheap bastards” to buy his book when he writes it?
Call me crazy, but insulting your customer base and blaming them for your poor choice of business model isn’t the greatest way to sell more product to those people.
I really appreciate what this guy did. But apparently he wasn’t doing it out of a sense of patriotism or country - he wanted to make a profit. Well, the site was poorly laid out (I only saw it for the first time yesterday), most of the information was from other sources, the donation button’s weren’t prominent, and neither was the financial predicament of the site. Generally, it wasn’t very compelling.
A great resource? Yes. Absolutely. A site that compelled visitors to donate to the owner? No, not at first visit, at least, and not without some explanation (the site takes a long time, the owner’s on a fixed income, yada yada yada).
Blogs with freely available information are everywhere. If you’re going to compete in that market, you have to offers something more. If what you’re offering isn’t compelling, then it isn’t your customer’s fault - it’s yours.
The irony is, now that the guy gets exposure and might actually get some donations, he doesn’t want any.
Curmudgeon is the term that comes to mind.
The ‘Bama’s demise will also relegate the omnipotent MSM to the role of court jesters. The only hope of the MSM is to become permanently funded by a liberal federal government as a state run propaganda functionary, or turn to funding from the DNC and become a subdivision of that party. The American people will never take them seriously again.
We just know Dan doesn't mean us.
Not one penny for a government funded press!

Don’t understand. My blogs are FREE. Why couldn’t he have a Free blog?
And there are places to purchase websites inexpensively.
Sumpin’ ain’t quite right.
