How have mentally diseased sickos like this been allowed into positions of power?
I think it has something to do with Chesterton's observation that when men stop believing in God, they'll believe in anything.

Because many voting Americans are as shallow as a mud puddle and they liked the Hopey Change slogan and the idea of a *cool* President (guess they didn’t know he’d wear Mom Jeans).

Because far too many citizens are weak whiney losers who have allowed themselves to become dependent on the Government for everything.
Once dependent its just like drugs.You do what the dealer says or you get cut off of what you need to survive..
