Both Americamustknow.com and yourfellowcitizen.com are reporting on a couple of places in Democratic party rules where the party seems to explicitly admit that they are responsible for the proper vetting and, subsequently, nominating eligible candidates.
All of this seems to tie in nicely with what House Speaker Nancy Pelosi had certified as Barack Obam being duly nominated for the party.

Page 18 of the national party rules states, in part:
K. 1. Based on the right of the Democratic Party to freely assemble and to determine the criteria for its candidates, it is determined that all candidates for the Democratic nomination for President or Vice President shall:
a. be registered to vote, and shall have been registered to vote in the last election for the office of President and Vice President; and
b. have demonstrated a commitment to the goals and objectives of the Democratic Party as determined by the National Chair and will participate in the Convention in good faith.
2. It is further determined that these requirements are in addition to the requirements set forth by the United States Constitution and any law of the United States. (emphasis added)
Further, here is the PDF of a letter to the South Carolina Election Commission from the SC State Party Chair, Carol Fowler, explaining that it’s allegedly their responsibility to determine eligibility of candidates.

I do believe I saw her signature on something official like that.
I’m still chewing on how McCain became our candidate when he was out of the race.
Obama’s refusal to release any of his documents that either prove or disprove his eligibility to be President is a double-edged sword. If he were to sue any of us who think he is a commie, marxist, fraud, traitor, America-hater, racist, charlatan, puppet for George Soros, then all of those documents would be discoverable in a court of law. This means that he can be accused by the American people and our websites of every unethical move he makes or has made and he dare not allow himself to come under any court of competent jurisdiction.
I WANT THAT FRAUD OUT OF MY WHITE HOUSE!

My theory on McCain is: by the time he started making a comeback it was pretty well determined by “those” who decide these things that a democrat would win (any democrat, at that). The Bush hatred was just too strong. So, they let this nice senior have his 15 minutes in the sun with even McCain knowing he would lose. Thus their surprise when Sarah energized everyone. (backroom: “Mmm, that wasn’t supposed to happen — shut her down.”
I will agree; however, McCain is a RINO known to be a dimwit, Keating 5, and had some problems with natural born citizen too. One of the biggest con jobs on America ever.
Look, the dem party is all about smoke and mirrors. There are several big stories running at this time that are smoke and mirrors.
The truth is optional. Think about it.

if so, then no wonder she acts like she has a license to steal!!! SHE DOES.. and the obamanation can’t do a thing about it!!
And may they rue the day they did that.
I would hope Sarah (only if she “does not” run) will write a book on her experience during the ‘08 campaign. I’d love to hear about what went on in the back room (if she was even invited into it that is). Must’ve surprised them to see that the VP candidate was more popular than the Pres. candidate. Wouldn’t you have loved to be a fly-on-wall during that one?

I hope and pray for the day when she's under oath and is asked what she viewed or verified in order to accept him as "legally qualified to serve under the provisions of the United States Constitution" as a candidiate for and hold the office of POTUS.
Her head should be the next one to fall after the obamanation. It’s no wonder she says she doesn’t care what anyone thinks of her and she behaves like she has a license to steal! SHE DOES... what the heck can obamanation do to her when she has him by his “ahem” birth certificate!
