Perry is “Presidential Timber.” You’re kidding, right? Seriously….really. Have you been involved in Texas politics over the past few years?
Perry has very few genuine conservative convictions [other than gun rights, I give him a solid A+ for that]. If it were not for an active and attentive conservative block in the Texas Republican Party, Perry would be a moderate Democrat.
Perry’s recent, non-intellectual, right-wing sounding comments sound boorish and embarrassing to me, but I guess it will get him more Texas Bubba votes. For those of us who remember beyond a politician’s recent grandstanding, we have trouble swallowing:
(1) the business margins tax; (2) TTC fiasco; (3) forced HPV (partial) vaccine, etc.
That being said, I prefer Perry over KBH; but I can’t say I am too happy with either.

You're right about those things but, at least when the people of Texas said, “No Way”, he listened.
As much as I have disliked him in the past, (never voted for him) I appreciate his telling the FEDs to FO.
He may of done some soul-searching after his experiences with US politics and the Bilderbergs group.
