Orly Taitz appearance on The Colbert Report
Did no one tell her this show is satire? She might as well have gone on Letterman.
Watch the video. Orly has a good sense of humor about a very serious subject.
I’ll take your word for it. I have no stomach for Colbert. He wasn’t bad in five-minute segments the first time or two that I saw him, but he can’t carry a 30-minute show.
who did the captioning?
BTW, she may well have been correct about the 65 million people killed during World War II.

She seems to have handled an insulting, not very funny, boor as well as could be expected. If humor requires a kernel of truth, he wasn’t funny like he obviously thought he was.
Didn’t watch whole thing. can’t stand colbert
“Did no one tell her this show is satire?...”
Some idiots actually believe that Stewart and Colbert are REAL news shows.
Can’t stand Colbert, either. This is the first time I have seen Orly Taitz, and I must say, she is not very bright and not a good spokesperson for the issue. Berg is much better at stating the case. She also made a number of misstatements, such as claiming that both parents must be US Citizens to be eligible. She won’t help the cause gain any support.
That's the real harm she did. The #1 we keep hearing is what would it take to satisfy the birthers...the answer HAS to be show the long-form.
Her answer was "Nothing unless you can dig up his father and posthumously make him a citizen." That's the answer that will allow everybody to ignore every other birther point.
In her mind she is just stating the truth, and following the rules the way the founders intended. As they say “the truth shall set you free.”
Yeah, that one was pretty stupid, too. Rule 11 stupid.
