Just so that nobody gets confused: the order of the certificates means nothing. The numbers are only there for unique identification. One stack of them would be at one hospital or office, and another would be at another hospital or office, meaning that each would turn in the certificates out of order. Surely there are some missing as well.

However, the birth certificate, if produced, still wouldn’t resolve allegations that his citizenship was renounced.

But shouldn't the certificates issued from the same facility have numbers that are consecutive? Even if they were distributed to various facilities the bunch that each one received should have numbers all in a row. Unless there were a lot of children being born every day the certificates from two births a day apart should have just about the same number.

We aren't even certain the man we know as Barrack Obama is the same person that was born on that day in that place. I can show up with a birth certificate of someone about my age and pass myself off as that person with little difficulty.

Too many gaps in the resume of the man now occupying the oval office to be certain who he is, or what he's done.

LOL! Many years ago hospitals gave you a Certificate with all the information about your baby on it even the cute little foot print. But that was never a legal Birth Certificate. All Legal Birth Certificates are issued from the County Health Department of the County you were born in.

No way to determine whether or not you are correct on that statement, without access to a birth registry by which one can compare birth certificate numbers to dates and times of birth, and/or interviewing a state bureaucrat who was intimately familiar with the procedures at that time.
