Well..., you’ve got to keep in mind, it wasn’t the State of Hawaii trying to convince someone else — but rather all those *others* who were *clamoring* for the State of Hawaii to say something else — other than what they did last year.
If you remember from last year the complaint of the FReepers here was that they did not say where he was born. So, almost a whole year later and with many FReepers and others *after* the State of Hawaii to *say something more* — they finally did.
That doesn’t sound like the State of Hawaii trying to convince someone — that sounds like hundreds of thousands banging at the door of the State of Hawaii... LOL...
And so, finally they said something more — and the “more” was that Obama was born in Hawaii and that he is a natural-born American citizen — they released the “more information” that everyone has been *hammering* them about....
I can understand what you are saying, however, the words “trust me” from a government official of the USA with regard to this matter are FAIL, so much so that it is laughable. This is where I feel like someone is trying to convince me, but without actually offering any actual proof.
But furthermore, I don’t believe that there is any way that they can claim that he is a “natural-born citizen” even if they had viewed his actual long form bc, because if his parents are who he has said they are, then he is not, by any means, a natural born citizen.
